CLS63

2012 C63 Coupe - Edition 1 - Pricing

I'm getting a discount of 2k off the sticker of $80,315.

Car = $77,740
DESTINATION & DELIVERY = $875
GAS GUZZLER = $1,700
TOTAL $80,315

Is 2k discount good? Anyone know of better deals on the Edition 1? Would love some insights before I pull the trigger.

are they really that much ? i see nothing extra special about the edition 1 other than matte color . what is the difference ?

That makes sense... the dealer where I bought my C63 sold an Edition 1 for only a few thousand more than I paid for my normal, loaded, coupe. I don`t think there is a huge difference in price going to the Edition 1.

Loaded P31 WITHOUT Matte paint is 81K

not including tax or freight and PDI

Matte paint alone is worth 5.5k

Also Matte paint is not available in Canada for the C63

That`s right... I think the Edition 1 coupe that was at the dealer (Canadian too) was listed for around $84-$85 (if memory serves me correctly) so there was a $3 to $4k premium over a loaded C63 coupe.

Actually when I was at the dealership checking price out in Canada.... I found out that the Edition 1 is a wad cheaper than the FULLY LOADED c63

The main thing the Edition 1 is missing is the LSD, all the other missing options are cosmetic and personal preference like CF trim and driver aids.

In Canada thge Edition cars had the P31 package with LSD and carbon fibre. The option packages are quite different than in the US.

I was offered $3k off an Edition on sedan.

If a dealer participates in the Costco program and has the Edition 1, you should be able to get it for $300 over invoice.

First owners of limited editions and getting a discount is good! I paid 80k before TTLR for a loaded 2011 incl. P31 and LSD. I am now awaiting pricing for an Edition 1 SLK55 AMG. I'll be happy if it's around 75-85k USD.

Really, in the bay area? The only editiion 1s I saw were going at MSRP.

I ended up using the Costco program and buying a color combination I actually liked

(not a fan of the maintenance headaches of matte finish).

That's one more thing. You can get the same look with vinyl... even create combinations. Best of all it does not break your bank and you can just take it off when you are tired of it. With real matte paint, you are stuck.
