Just a little background for those who were not aware, I recently switched form MBH to MHP Headers. The shop performing the work was ACG New York whom I've used in the past with excellent results.

The majority of the threads here concerning customer service tend to lean towards the negative side, so for a welcome change I thought it would be appropriate to give credit when credit is due.

My story begins with me dropping my C63 off at ACG New York(Brooklyn) the evening before install with the expectation of picking up a finsihed vehicle the following evening. Based on my experience with ACG in the past this was the norm.

Fast forward to the following evening, sitting through two train rides from NJ to Brooklyn I receive a text from ACG informing me there is a vibration on the driver side header due to the header touching a mount.

I finally arrive at ACG's shop and after several adjustments the car is ready for a test drive but sadly a vibration is clearly felt. It was getting late and I was tired so I decided to take the car home. ACG recommended I call MHP for any insight on the header install, which I did. I left a message with Andy(MHP) and informed him of my dilemma. No less than 15 minutes pass and Andy(MHP) returns my call and informs me the mount covers and back brace need to be removed or vibration could be an issue. I decided to put MHP and ACG in contact with each other because I felt it would be better if they discussed the install directly. After 15 minutes I receive a call from ACG asking me to bring the vehicle back the following evening for adjustments recommended by Andy(MHP). At this point I'm very happy to say the least.

Fast forward again to this morning and to my surprise I receive a text from ACG asking for my address so they can pick up my vehicle and they would also provide me with a loaner vehicle(M3). Not only did they pick up the vehicle and make recommended adjustments but they also returned the vehicle in the same day less any vibrations. So, ACG drove from Brooklyn to NJ twice to make a customer happy.

I just wanted to give a big thumbs up to ACG New York and MHP for excellent customer service. For Andy returning my call immediately with a solution to my problem and for ACG going way above and beyond than they needed to.

Mike - where is ACG New York located in Brooklyn? I tried finding them but it appeared as if they weren't set up yet. I'd love to be able to have my performance mods handled by them.

Congrats Mike on the install. ACGSD also ran into the same issue when installing my MHP headers, that they would hit the motor mount heat shields if not removed. No biggie, easy to remedy. Glad to hear Andy provided a resolution quickly, and from my own dealings with him, I wouldn't have expected anything less. MHP and ACG definitely put out quality products and top-notch customer service.

Now get those new track times!

Also, just to add to the awesome customer service. I lost two Forgestar CF center caps on a track day and ACG sent me a new complete set at no charge.

It's the little things that mean the most.

Another example of how ACG takes care of their customers. I had a fantastic experience with ACG when they did my LSD install earlier this year.

I like to see these kind of reviews . Why is not MHP represented here on this forum? I am 100% Andy can read all the post since it is a open forum but I want to see MHP represented here.

Andy is top notch. He never sleeps. He's responded to emails I've sent at near midnight, and I'm on the west coast.

On topic great story. MHP's product and service was never the problem. The drama was.

Good to hear about a good local shop as well. M3 loaner? Wow.

I was shocked with the M3 too. Never drove it. It sat at work for a few hours until my car was done and returned to me.

I wont know about ACG since i'm from the UAE , though Andy's service wins over almost whole UAE's products for C63's and many other cars,

Andy never hesitates to reply any of my emails 24/7, i wonder when he sleeps !

He even calls me from the US ( through the phone ) and talk to me for almost an hour advising me, that's why i'm very proud to say i'm all the way with his products/service.

I know this is an old thread, but does anyone else have experience with this place? What is the full name of the shop, looking it up on google provides little to nothing about it. It seems like its worth checking out, just wanted to know of others experiences (maybe with different class MBs as well). Thanks guys!

Thanks for sharing PetroC63. I too had received a good customer service with the folks from ACG. I was served by Peter from ACG San Diego.

As I will be in Manhattan in mid-May for a 10 days, I'll make my way down to ACG NY and see what goodies I can bring back home to Brunei!
