Clearly stated on your website, you can reprogram the ECU and TCU for the 63 amg's. Now, am I supposed to send you the ECU and the complete transmission? The TCU on that car cannot be programmed. It can be done on the 55, 600, and 65 amg's. How can you reprogram the TCU when your supplier, Techtec can't? No offense intended at all to Techtec.

The statements are so inconsistent it seems like there are multiple people posting from multiple locations.
I'd swear this is being posted by a call center someplace that's hired to keep up with posts.

One of the benefits of programming the TCU is we can raise the torque limiters (which we also for the 55k). I hope I have explained this clearly.
So you have simply flip-flopped here. I have spoken with Andy about this a long time ago and he has always said that TCU cannot be tuned. I even introduced him to one a guy here in Europe who was one of the lead engineers with Kleeman who said he has TCU tuning but after they spoke Andy said he did not think his solution would work. So he erred on side of caution. No MHP promo here....just the way it was.

MHP or somebody please fill me in here. Lol man this is worse than did the egg or chicken come first lol. All I got is just a tune. I happy with it but I keep hearing about a tcu tune.

I must say I have to agree with him on this one. I was poking around the MHP website over a week ago, long before this topic came up and MHP claims they can tune ALL TCUs/trans modules....as we all know that's an outright LIE when it comes to M156 722.9 equiped 63's.

I read the previous posts regarding Jags tuning the TCU's. He was referring to 55Kompressor motors and the 65 AMG motors. Not the 63.

THANK YOU! It looks like someone is reading the thread correctly. Exactly as I explained.

So did you just wake up out of bed the other day and think to yourself "I wonder how I can waste a bunch of money today"
If so congrats! Because becoming a vendor here and acting like a complete douche will definitely give you that result.

Only the dealer can do it. I need to go see if it was on my work slip. After I got my car back from service B - it felt sluggish. I thought they flashed my ECU as they had my car for 3 days.
When I asked them, my service rep checked with the main tech and he confirmed that they ONLY updated the TCU NOT ECU. I asked them what it changed and the tech said that they "bla bla bla Torque curve".
My car still felt sluggish so I ended up re doing my ECU flash (just in case) and after about 100 miles.. she was definitely back to normal but with way way better off the line control.
(and yes my old file was still on the ECU so it was confirmed that they did not do the ECU)
