Custom ECU tune/ Highest RWHP C63
What the highest RWHP someone has seen on a dyno out of a c63?
Now on the way home my wheels began doing a burnout and the following ran through my head...albeit after a few celebratory drinks...
Can the M156 ECU be actively flashed...like dyno tuned??? If so, why hasn't anyone with a check book the size of China said..."Lets stuff EVERYTHING under the hood, punch the motor, size some custom CP pistons, add a wiestec (or not), heads, cams, pulley, throttle bodies, full exhaust...the WHOLE 9yds and then lets just see what happens???"
I know I'm comparing a burger to kobe beef, but UG racing and Heffners seem to be able to build a gallardo block, twin turbo it and VOILA...1500hp. I think it would just be cool to see someone drag a c63 to texas mile and throw down a 200mph run. I guess I'm just talking out my butt, b/c there is no chance I could ever afford it and I've only had my c63 for 2 months, but please tell me I'm not the only dreamer on here...

Forum member, JRcart has virtually done almost everything you can think of to the M156.
There are other members here to that have done alot of work to they're engines but JRcart's is the most heavily modded one have come across.

yes it can be done. Alot of folks in this forum including myself have done it. It is not something weird.

because alot of those paramaters in th ECU canot be messed around with and they are locked, espeially the files that control the camshafts. thats why people like Hefner cannot preform a twin turbo system for this motor. The only guys that could do that and have access to those files are Brabus.
Thats nothing new. Hennessey is able to do the same thing on Gallardos. Hoever, for the M156 platform its difficult
That wont be all difficuilt right now with a fully moded wesitec M156

To be honest when I joined the forum we didn't get along so well but that all changed after Vegas. He had to borrow my reg to get through the street car Tech and we have never looked back.
We push each other which keeps the R&D coming. If you think we are on each other now, the spring running should have you pissing yourself laughing!

The registration was back at the hotel. Turn around time would have been an hour so he used mine.

I live in Central Florida. I heard you and Jim are coming here the first of the year?
I put 457whp/427lb-tq on my bone stock 2008 C6 Z06 on a Dynojet. Added LG motorsports and Killer bee air filter and only added 13whp(no tune though).
