Wow...lots of standard features and $105k base. Really, if youre not into the CF or track stuff and just want a well equipped BS - you're looking at around $110k - 19" wheels, amg technology pack...much less than I thought!!

I was gonna say, whoever posted this in in for a world of trouble. I've had my hands on the C63BSDOG for a little while now and they couldn't strees enough that I was absolutely not allowed to post it anywhere and since I have one on order I didn't want to lose my allocation or something.
Not sure why they are keeping this so secret, I would think they would want to publicity?????

If the black series is coming in at 105 base. I will pass, I was looking at the 90 to 95 range . It's still a C class. For 105 base 2012 Porsche 911S, with remarkable value and resale. For the same price, I'd get a Porsche. I know what's 10k more, it's the exclusive status q. The reason why it is hash, hash because there's going to be a price gouging spat between dealers. I am disappointed, maybe I'll wait a year and buy it used for 80k.

The CLK Black was just under $140K and it was built on the C Platform. The fact that this car is 3 years newer, should perform better and if you limit the options could be bought for $115K is amazing to me.
Check the CLK Black forum, the people that own them love them. I suspect that we will hear the same from the owners of the C Black next year.

Oh God, not another Porsche guy....I priced the brand new model 911S a few weeks ago, the base price is 110K Canadian, then dressing the car up with the comparable options that the Black Series is equipped brought me to 148K 
Are you kidding me? My 911S will barely be distinguishable from all the thousands of 911 cars, only the Porsche guy will notice. You guys can keep your boring, pathetic sounding flat 6 cars and I will announce my presence with the monster V8 that will sooner or later will die due to all these more efficient cars on the horrizon.....seriously, about resale, the CLK Black Series still fetches some pretty high numbers, imagine when MB moves to these smaller engines, my BS will be retaining its value.

I have a black series on order for the regional area that I'm in. Only 3 or 4 are allocated for area. I don't know the base price. The numbers need to add up. The car is nice, I Don't buy on impulse and I don t like to be had. MB can sell it for 200k I don't care, it's business. Statistical it makes no since to hit above 110k complete. People are on Lists not on order, so I'll see my options when the numbers come out. By the way thier not sold out for black series thier just getting a tally.

By the way the clk was a classic hammer. The new c63 black is going to be produced as a wagon and convertible . So when it comes to being exclusive the clk black was and is. The c63 black is going to be diluted, this is why numbers make sence, men lie, women lie, numbers don't....I had a Porsche and just got out of a e-92 M3 now a 550. I'd like the c63 as a summer toy at a reasonable price. (100k out the door). We'll see or I'll wait for used.

Who says it will be produced as a wagon and convertible? In your post you suggest that MB is going to do 3 things they have never done - a BS wagon, a BS convertible, and more than a limited run. Lots of assumptions there, just saying.
If you want a summer toy, get a loaded regular C63 and pocket the $20k difference, there you go.

Autoblog had a spy picture of a wagon with the c platform. (assumming its a black series from editor) You are correct a loaded c63 amg would make due for the time being. Decisions..

Generic BMW? M5,550? editing mistake. I had more sport coupes and motorcycles then you have shoes in your young life. Also remember this a rumor is only half true. The black series c63 will get deluted some way or form. The clk is and will be original.

the BS C63 will be available pretty readily as many people who are on the list and have one coming will soon realize that a $135K C class makes no sense.
The economy is not the same as when the original CLK black came out.
I have already been contacted by 3 dealers stating they have one available to sell.
I have posted many times that anything over $100K will not attract many buyers.
For $135K, I am personally thinking of getting the Vantage S. Obviously not as fast but fast enough.
