Common Problems with the C63 AMG
The tranny is not a dual clutch but that doesn't really matter in this case. I have a P31 car and have never experienced any vibration like you describe. I don't believe it is a common problem regardless of what the dealer is telling you.
No wonder your car is vibrating....it's telling you to drive faster. The tranny is struggling to push the car forward in 7th at 90kph.
The best way to eliminate that vibration is to stop driving around in 7th gear at 90 kph! 7th is an overdrive gear and you're not even at highway speeds....I doubt the car is even turning 1400 RPM @ 90 kph

Could it be a faulty power steering pump?
Also I hear a weird noise coming from behind the instrument cluster when I go over bumps and rough roads, i am not sure what it is.
Anyone else have experience with the swooshing sound?
as from my understanding of what you're saying, you never driven the car I comfort mode is that right? You are saying that you can drive on highway or motorway or freeway for 10 or 20 km distance in traffic where really even if you want to go fast you can't because of traffic flow at 90 to 100kph and you will still drive in 4th gear? If so you would have to be special driver and even formula one driver would be jealous of the way you handle the car.

1. Little rattling noise from the front of the dash (like a little screw rattling when going over bumps) drives me insane, 3 trips to dealership havent resolved it.
2. had to top of oil twice during 6000 miles
3. 6K rear continentals are toast (normal driving)
4. rattling noise from the back, dealer fixed, dash thats holding down the speakers was loose.
I guess I might have to pay closer attention, but the contrast between my AMG and my G35 coupe is like night and day. My G has double the miles of my 63 and is lowered (significantly to where it might be flame worthy on this forum. Spare me
). I hear clicks, ticks, bumps, scrapes, rubs, and squeaks on a regular basis, so when I hop into the 63 it's like a promised land of solitude and peace.
Car is always at the MB dealer shop. I keep getting this code P0221. So they replaced the throttle pedal. Did tranny service. But everytime I down shift car only goes up to 4000 rpm wont shift. CEL come back again and same code. I restart my car car runs fine but CEL still there. After few miles comes off. My car is stock non P31. Any idea whats the problem? thanks
Besides tires and gas...it's a dream
