Wasnt around to get the 10.666 pass!
Blackbenz - showing the sc63 how it is done? That is a shot across the bow so I will bite. I ran 10.8 first time out in 5,000+ DA and while I take nothing away from Dodgers great runs, he did so in 1,000 - DA so these times would have been expected.
Do give you an idea of how important air is, here is an idea what my run would have converted to.

I ran a 10.62 @ 136 in a +2000 DA in a 4104 lbs car. I have heard that Mikse car weighs in at about 3500 pounds in race trim. You're an intelligent person please do the math. So while even though my car is making quite a bit more power there is absolutely nothing about these runs that we can compare. I HIGHLY doubt Mike would want to line up with me for money on the same track on the same day...but maybe I'm wrong.
FYI my 10.6 corrected down to a 10.38 (sea level) I wonder what it would factor using yesterdays DA at MIR 10.20 maybe???????
I said it on the other board but I will say it here, AMAZING TIMES Mike, Great job, now bolt on a Weistec and you will not only be king of the 63s but king of the MBs.

Both of you guys have what is classified as "Extensively Modified Supercharged and Turbocharged Engines" Please use those correction factors when correcting. You are both correcting for NA engines. Not the case.

Mike, I will ask you straight out, would you line up with Earl or I yesterday for even $100 had either one of our cars been there?
Earl, I think technically if I recall, the DA was only +4800 when we ran our side by side 10.8s LOL. That being said,Mike ran this time and nobody can take that away from him, we could have been at the event yesterday so it is our loss that we didn't take advantage of those conditions. I get pissed when people try to discredit our times or rain on or parades so let's not do the same to Mike. I'm taking the high road but I had to chime in on Ahmads comment because it was way out of line, invalid and inaccurate.
What does it correct to factoring yesterdays -1200 DA at MIR? Is there a way to calculate thate? Just curious now that we're on the topic.

You guys still correct lower. No question both of you are quicker. In Neg DA like his probably a 10.3 uncorrected. VERY impressive considering you weight close to 400lb's more.

You guys are motivating me to get back in the game. I can get MIR any time they aren't running an event so if you want me to set something up its just a call away.Btw, with some more seat time in Mikes car I'm pretty sure I can turn a 10.5X... I mean I did cut a 1.55 60' but had the car in comfort
If he's down we can try to make it happen soon
First week of March will be too hot and humid in FL, I will not be attending, we would be better of running MIR is we have to wait until March.
Woah don't get carried away, the record time was run at about -866 DA NOT -1200. Your sig says 10.639 but if you ran 10.62 in +1800 it corrects to 10.547 in a SC car. Mikes car corrects to 10.736 Was it worth $400k?

Give me the exact details on both runs and I will get both DA corrected accurately

Back to Jim's car...
Jim. you just correct to zero. You don't correct to -866 that was run for his best time. Neg DA you can just assume. There is no calculator I know of that does that.
Your car in 0 DA at your best time would correct to 10.546 @ 135.845 MPH.
You cant go back the same conditions because as you can see a NA engine suffers a much higher correct than a SC or Turbo. So Mikes car correct by about a 3/4 a 10th. A SC or Turbo would only correct a 1/4 a tenth in those conditions. So pretty much take your time. Factor it to zero and then shave about 1/4 to 1/2 a 10th. You would run about a 10.4XX in -866 DA.
Now that's some good ole bench racing. Who knows how your tune or your SC will perform at sea level and in cold temps. The only way to know is to do it. Everything else is BS.
With that kind of money I'd get a UGR or Alpha 12 and wax that CLK all day long.

Thanks I will definitely keep you in the loop
Quick question Jr you state gutted, I'm not making assumptions here but, don't yoi and Ecampbell have race seats driver and passenger? And the clk black series does not have a back seat to begin with right?
All you guys correcting and all this.. doesn't the ice in the trunk HELP cancel out high DA? I really don't no this but I thought that's,exactly what its for?
