I keep thinking to myself, why would someone pay a lot of money to get a the C63?
My greatest fascination about this car is the engine. You don't come across a 6.2 L with tremendous HP! It's like you know you can fly by just about any car next to you!
What's yours?

Agreed, never had anything that snorts, pops and gurgles like this thing does. I drive around with the sunroof cracked even in freezing weather just to listen to this thing decelerate at red lights.
Previous car was a 660hp 08 911 Turbo which always sounded choked due to the turbos in the exhaust, so I am in heaven... (I loved the turbo too, but in a completely different way and for different reasons)

I like the bucket seats. I like the fact that the interior is userfriendly and doesnt look like an acura TL. I like the quad exhaust and I like the profile from the rear diagonal. I like the front wheel fenders and the hood buldges...

Melts tires like they are made of butter. In all honesty and as my wife says, what is there to hate about this car. Everyone seems to love the C63. I had it for almost 4 years now and I still get compliments about it all the time.

The torque really is insane, especially once you flash it and uncork this engine. While my 911t had 'more power' and could definitely outrun this car on the track, the fact that you were squeezing that much power from only a 3.6L engine meant the power felt very off/on, like a light switch. You either felt like you were driving a car with only a 3.6L engine (light throttle) or you hit the pedal, waited a brief moment for the turbos to spool, and felt like you were behind the wheel of a car with twice the engine as a moment before. It was awesome, but no matter how minimal a turbo lag is, I still feel it, and like I said, it feels on/off with almost nothing in between.
The C63 torque is just there...all the time...just waiting for me to slightly crack the pedal so it can try and tear a chunk out of the road. My 911 was my dream car, but my C63 frankly makes me smile more than that car ever did - every time I drive it.

Was mine too until I test drove a 997 Turbo. Great car, HATED the turbo lag no matter how minimal...was no longer my dream car after that.

That I'm 2+ years & 30k + miles in and I haven't thought for one second about trading her in for something else. That's way new territory for me & car relationships.

I will admit I am envious of your paint job. I have been seriously considering doing a matte wrap on my car, but I live in the historic district in a 100yr old house with a single carport on the driveway and I am afraid the upkeep would be a b*tch. Although, I believe the upkeep on matte vinyl is markedly easier than trying to upkeep actual matte paint.
