I also have a C63BS on order at MSRP. In fact, 2 were offered to me at MSRP. I may be wrong, but I understand that initial allocations were reserved for dealerships with AMG Performance Centers. This may explain why there are geographic disparities in availability. A Mercedes/AMG Product Manager told me earlier this year that the allocations would be slated for such dealerships in CA, FL and the NY/NJ/CT area. I believe allocations are now being offered to non AMG Performance Center dealerships. The final dealer pricing guide was sent to the applicable dealers on or about December 16th and I was told that orders for the early cars had to be final by December 19th (with anticipated deliveries around April/May, 2012). I am not sure why the original poster does not have final prices.

BTW, this is my first post, and I look forward to learning much from all of you.

Regards.

I think you're right. My three local dealerships went from 0 to all having one in a few days time.

C63 Black Series, Magno Alanite Grey
I put my order in about 1.5 weeks ago, they are working out an issue where I cant seem to get leather seats with my color combo, and no exterior carbon with that color either (Magno alanite Grey)

I really wanted to go:

Magno Alanite
Ext Carbon
(possibly Aero)
Leather
Blk Wheels
Telematics

What I cannot get because of getting 044 (Magno Grey)
-No Leather (dinamica only)
- No Ext Carbon
- No Aero

.... Kinda bummed, actually - really bummed about it.

Assuming you're ordering in the US, I'm pretty sure you can't get leather, per the AMG Private Lounge posting with the BS ordering guide. It says pretty clearly "One interior design available (no changes possible)." There are no indications that a matte color precludes the aero / track package.

Damn, it seems like it's pretty easy for you guys to get your hands on an allocation of the C63 BS, in Canada its pretty damn hard and I gave up trying to even find more info on it...

You're making your dealership look bad. If I was the owner of your dealership, I'd say "You're fired!" Ridiculous post.

It's pretty interesting. Canada sold out of the initial 10 allocations in a day. They got 20 more and those sold out within a week. All 30 were long gone. In the US, 70ish allocations, 10 times the population, and everybody is getting 'em offered to them. Something doesn't add up.

In Canada, only AMG Performance Centers are getting them, period. There were some non APC dealers getting them, but they had to trade several AMG allocations for 1 BS allocation with other APC dealers to "unofficially" get one.

MB Canada is way more competitive price wise with it's competition (BMW, Audi, Cadillac) than MB in the US which may play a role here. As I've said in other threads before, Canadian AMG cars are effectively the same price as they are in the US when fully loaded and we seem to get more stuff as standard equipment. This is very different than almost any other car sold in Canada compared to its US sibling. A fully loaded C63 coupe is $10k less than a fully loaded M3 in Canada but in the US I believe they are either around the same or potentially even more than an M3.

It seems as though MB Canada is much more aggressive with product and pricing than the US relative to our market size which is tiny compared to the US.

This is too funny! I just got back from my dealership and my buddy who is a salesman there told me with a reluctant tone that unfortunately the "C63 Black Series is only going to be available at AMG driving events and that consumers will not be able to purchase one."

How wrong is he?

You need to get your friend help... how can he sell AMG cars at all if he doesn't know basic stuff!!

My suggestion would be point him to this forum and insist that he read every post for the last year and get educated

That's only the case with the C63. The E63 and CLS63 both start at $10k more than the US cars

M3 is $90k here with an M5 starting at $100k in the US

All that with the Canadian dollar pretty much at par with the USD

We get hosed here

I don't agree. In the case of the C63, a loaded car in Canada (Premium & performance) is less expensive in Canada than a comparative equipped US car. This time we have an advantage.

In the US you can order many options individual while in Canada they are either standard or grouped as part of the two option packages.

It is still possible to order a BS in Canada if you are a long established customer, connected and can access your dealer principle.

A new price list was released a few days after the one you just posted. There was a price drop for one item (Matte Black forged wheels) and an increase with respect to a couple of others.

Do you have the upgraded buyers guide? Or did you see it on here/hear about it? I'd like to see it if possible.
