Today i just did deposit for the Black Series $26k yes allot Order it Fully loaded

Dealer didn't know the final price , he will get to me after a month for full Information .

exterior color Solar-beam (yellow)

now the Hard part do i get Red interior or Black ?

Can some one Photo shop the interior of this photos to Red if it possible ?

BLACK..

Red makes no sense with that exterior color.

Black will look much better.

Come on guys, yellow and red is a great combination...

something tells me that 1991 stands for this guys birth year. seems extremely young and clueless.. I would never give my dealer 26K as a deposit and not know a finalized price? This just doesn't make sense. I've always ordered my AMGs from the factory and waited the two months for it to be built and delivered always knowing the exact dollar amount I'm looking at. i'm not doubting him, but he seems misinformed. (maybe I am) You can't get any color combo for the interior of the BS. It all comes standard with black dinamica inserts with red accented stitching; however I have seen in the pictures that the stitching does match the paint color on the solar beam car. Perhaps the stitching will always be red for all of the standard/matte colors and maybe just for the solar beam paint will get special stitching to match it.

what I've been told by my dealership is that I may put a deposit down on the car (but not nearly 26K). I've been given a few paint options and two matte options, but not the solar color. Basically that's all.

I left a deposit on the car before it was even announced. My order was confirmed in July, but no allocation set yet. I still don't know the final price. The US prices have been announced, but Canadian prices have not. Nothing out of the ordinary for a black series.

In terms of colors, we're getting shafted in North America as the AMG Performance Studio isn't doing much for us for paint or interior. Other parts of the world is different, so I wouldn't be surprised if he could get custom interior and Solarbeam paint.

I thought the moderators on the Private Lounge said the solar beam is not available anywhere...maybe I misunderstood.

The yellow color was a one off. Not a color they are going to offer. :-(

Yes it stand for my birth Year so what ? and who are you to say i am Clueless Dude do i even know you ? and i am located in Saudi Arabia not in The States so deferent country deferent dealer , dealer take 40$k deposit for An SLS and and he is the only dealer for Mercedes in the whole Country , Like i said in the first post he didn't know the final price , i wish i can get my Car in two months and can order it from the factory and get warranty 3 Years not one year and get the other services that offers if i order it throw The dealer , i don't know about States dealers but any one can order any Color combo for the BS if you have the $$ every thing is possible .

For the record you cannot buy the Solar-Beam. This was done for US launch event only. Now you could get the performance studio to do it, but that would take some doing. Also your dealer should be able to provide costing in Euros now, and then add in what margin he will charge and taxes/duties.

FWIW,
I saw two special projects car at the AMG studio, one was a G class getting a Leica night vison system (cost was several million US) the guy liked to hunt at night and the other was a customer getting black series special interior, both cars from Saudi Arabia. I've seen Orange CLK63 as well. Scott from the PL had a special matt silver CLK63 which is the only one. Seems for special customers with a open check book there is a option.

Another code worth mentioning would be 197, for the color Obsidian Black. Even more important is 310 for "twin cup holders."

Anything is possible...especially with AMG Performance Studio....

The US plays by very different rules when it comes to customization.

+63......but that's why DUPONT and HOUSE OF KOLORS exist . paint doesn't void a warranty , so buy the car and spray it with your own design

My UK dealer advised that Solarbeam is not available on the BS unless going via Performance Studio i.e. its painted e.g. red, rolls completed off the line and is then stripped down and resprayed... Mad!
