Thumbs up nittos nt05 275 35 19 amg wheels

i just installed 275 35 19 , tires on my c63 with the optional amg 19'' wheels and was surprised they are not rubbing , they are perfect and the traction is alot better than the 30s i had before , note that my car is lower on h&r coilovers all around and the look i think is perfect with the 245 35 19 i have in front,

pics are coming soon

Looking forward to the pics! Can't believe 35's on the rear and no rubbing, especially with the H&R's.

not the best quality , ok i did the alignment on my car yesterday, filled it with a full tank of gas and had a 250 ib guy in the passenger seat , the car didnt even rub once , i think its because of the squared side walls , i was doing burnout turning hard and driving the car crazy , from inside the car didnt hear any thing and when i checked on the tires and the fenders you can see clearly that they didnt touch once, i didnt try it with passengers in the back and i dont have my fenders rolled nether do i have spacers, and again the traction is crazy and i tried almost every tire out ther and these are by the far the best, very happy with the look also and my car has the s2 mhp package on it and it still hooks up from a dig,

Nice pics! Amazing you don't rub. I also like the NT05's. Had them on my last C63.

I just installed 275 35 19 NTO5s on my 2011 facelift (12 shape).

I had some major rubbing on the back wheels even on flat roads. It seemed to trigger most whenever I turned right 5 deg or more (left rubbed more than right side).

Took it in to the shop and it was rubbing against the heat shield by the exhaust on the inner wall, so they bent the shield a bit to give the wheel some clearance.

Still get the occasional rubbing sound on open road driving at speed if it's really bumpy, otherwise no issues.

I do find the gearing feels a bit longer with 35s, but that might be a placebo effect?

I love the NT05. I have them on my stock wheels...excellent traction and handling. Where did you buy them and what is the price point?

How do the NT05s fare on the occasional rainy day? I had NT555s on my C63 and constantly felt like I was going to crash when it was raining.

They're fine for me, I'm slowly losing the paranoia that I'm going to drive the car into the scenery. I think the key fact with them is they can't dump a lot of water out - so it's the puddles that'll do you at speed. Otherwise I'm slowly driving more and more confidently in the rain with sport traction enabled.

In the dry, dear god the acceleration. The car just hooks and launches, insane!

Thanks for the info. I got Vredestein Ultrac Sessantas on my Supercharged Challenger SRT8 and they surprisingly do really well in the rain. Was going to try out the Vredestein Vorti / Vorti R's when I get new wheels for my CLS, but I am having a hard time finding them in the sizes I need here in the US. Might get NT05s.

Took the NT05s for the first run ever on a track, they were godly. I kept up easily with a bi-turbo Porsche and even when I was provoking the car coming out of corners it would just hook and go. Parking up afterwards the rubber was soft and spongy, crazy!

Glad to hear these tires are running well for you. I should be getting mine with a new set of 19's in a couple weeks.
