Ducati(Italian) partnership with AMG

So I wouldn't lie to you, I was browing the net for buying a motorcycle and I love Ducatis and BMWs but I was surprised to see a Ducati AMG version....

How many Bikers in da house?

This is the link:

Nededless to say that the Motorbike is pure sex!

The partnership has been in place for a little over a year now. If you follow Moto GP you will see that the Ducati Corse Moto GP team has AMG as one of their sponsors.

It is a marketing partnership as AMG owners and Ducati owners are of the same clientele.

+1 here. Went to the Indy round of Moto GP this past year and inside the Ducati area was a red SLS, and red CLS63 5.5tt. With big AMG logos everywhere.

MB’s of all kinds.
Not a biker nor do I care too much for them but I have always loved Ducati bikes! My neighbor in NY has a Ducati. He took me for a ride on it one time Stupid fast I call it I can only imagine what an AMG bike would be like. I hope it comes to the USA sometime soon.

The AMG bike is not produced by AMG and Ducati...it is produced solely by Ducati. It only uses styling cues from the AMG. Performance is the same as any other Ducati. (and trust me Ducati has no problem creating performance)

Besides using wheels styled by AMG. The engine builder at Ducati signs the alternator inspection cover. The bike is more of a tribute to AMG.

I've been riding for 6 years, and once I bought my first Ducati, I never thought about Japanese bikes again. I currently ride a 2010 1198S. Ducati's dedication to performance and quality is right up there with an AMG. The same thing that I love about my C63 is what I love about my 1198S.....TORQUE! I'm talking about crazy stupid torque. The kind that pushes your eyeballs so hard into your sockets that you can't blink thank God for traction control

I seen it and I love it too and I thought about it and it just ridiculouly dangerous. 193 hp and 200kilos. A few months ago BMW was running a MSF special package for military people which conisted on ABS and dynamic stability control(both options waived), both worth it about $1500. The 2012 version has tons of changes and it comes with a red and black color theme too.

The biggest Motorcycle I ever owned was a BMW K75C (750cc fuel injected) and my second biggest was a BMW F650GS (650cc fuel injected). I don't have the guts to get myself into that. I currently ride 3 italian vespa scooters.

I love the dry multi-disc clutch sound on the Ducatis, it sounds like a bent rod on the engine, it is a loud tack-tack-tack-tack!!! but if you know what you are listening is totally sick to the ears...

That is dangerous, but the electronics help keep it under control. I ordered the new Ducati 1199 Panigale S. It has a dry weight of 164 kilos and has 195HP with 98 lb-ft of torque. It should be here between April and June.

I love that sound. I put a open clutch cover on mine so it's even louder. I love the looks I get at a red light. Priceless. Ducati actually did away with the dry clutch for the new 1199 Panigale and went with a newly designed slipper and self servo wet multiplate clutch with hydraulic control.

The BMW is a nice bike, however it has two too many cylinders for me.

If an engine has more than two it needs four wheels.

Nelly- you take that thing on the track? (road course)

I've never tracked it. I live in southern California. All the tracks that I'm aware of are a good distance away and I don't have a bike trailer of my own to get it there. I usually take her through some really good canyon runs. There's plenty of those in my area.
