Thanks, I will mount them in April. We just had a snow storm .
The rims are 19x8.5 (F) and 19x10 (B), surprisingly light for the size. It looks, from the wheel calculator, like I can get away with 275/30 in the back.

I'm sure these will look amazing. I'm hoping I won't like them too much if I get to see them on the car so I'm not too jealous
Be careful with tire selection if you go 275/30 as the offsets are aggressive. Some tire brands (I'm thinking PSS, AD-08) might rub... some might be fine too.

The one thing the car needs is more tire.
That should be the banner at the top of this forum

Nice wheels.. I didnt know 265/35 fits our cars? I thought we needed 30 series.. I'm running 275/30/19 on my 19x10 w/o rubbing.. I'm even dropped on H&R.
But I heard Forgestar has agressive offset, so it would be safe to go 265/30, rather than 265/35 no?

There is a Forgestar dealer in BC that I spoke to and they strongly recommended 265/30 as their experience is that many 275/30 tires (not all) would rub.
@George... I ran 265 tires on 10" wheels on my M3 and they looked and performed fine. I agree with Callmiro that a 275 is better for the C63 if possible but, if it were me, I would start with a 265/30 and see how much room I had. 8,000 km from now when you need new rears, you can decide whether you think you can fit the extra width without rubbing. You could start with a 275 and may be fine but it would suck to find you rubbed after the tires were mounted and you couldn't change your mind. All just my opinion...

I hear ya
But the "275 rubbing" stories were some guys with lowered cars
I have 275s on my Forgestars and no rubs (only on the weekends at Blue Lagoon)

I don't disagree that 275/30 could work if he picks the right tire. All I was really saying is that with the aggressive offset, a tire that runs wide could rub in a 275/30.

You are running RE-11s correct? I had those on my M3 and they definitely did not seem as "wide" as the PSS I had before. I could see the RE-11 working but would worry about the PSS. Maybe both would work but I would worry much less with the RE-11.

The fact of the matter is that there is only 2/10ths of an inch difference in width between a PSS an RE-11 @ 275 30 19 which would be split between the inner and outer edge....which means only 1/10th of an inch wider on the outside
But whatever
Again, rubbing was affected by ride height and width

What's the offset of your rear wheels, if you don't mind me asking?

Are you running stock wheels or have you ordered or installed new wheels for your 2012 coupe?

My wheels are custom made to fit our cars.. so I requested a flush look w/o rubbing with a drop & they delivered it just right. (although they recommended me 265/30 as well, but I took a chance)
The offset is kept secret by the wheel company (kind of lame).. but I measured it myself, and my offset is +53mm. So you should be fine with anything higher like +55mm if you want to run 19x10 w/ 275/30.
