Not a manual transmission, just shifting by pushing the shift level to the right to up-shift and pulling it to the left to downshift with the shift lever in the D (drive) position rather than using the shift paddles on the steering wheel.

Have another look at the video....that console has a leather insert in it around the "gear lever"...there are various very quick images, but check out at around 3 to 3.06mins of the clip....that console & gear lever is DEFINITELY not like mine...there is a leather "boot' there!

All shift levers have a leather boot around them, at least mine does. Check out and freeze it at 1:56 and you will have a good shot of the shift lever, gear indicator strip (P R N -D+) and control knob (C S S+ M). Also the view at 3:02 shows the Selection indicator strip with P R N -D+ along the side of the lever. The car is obviously idling with the selector in N (neutral) position. There are some good shots from 2:54 to 2:58 as well.
