Finally picked it up!
So, after months of casually looking around and doing some homework, I finally found a C63 that I like and jumped on the deal. It's white/black 2009, 33k miles, P2, AMG leather, bluetooth, iPod, LSD, top speed delimiter, NAV...and all the other standard bells and whistles. I picked it up for $43k with the 2 year additional CPO.
Car was located in New Jersey, close to some family, so I decided to fly up there and take it on it's maiden voyage driving back down to Florida. I have to say, it's much more comfortable then I expected and got much better gas mileage then I expected too.
The only downer on the whole trip is that pretty much just as I arrived home in Florida the CEL came on. Oh well...that's what CPO is for...got an appt with MB tomorrow to get it checked out. It feels like the idle is just ever so slightly rough...so maybe I just got some bad gas along the way down.
Here's a couple pics I took with the trusty iPhone...
The NYC backdrop, on the night before leaving to head home:
Some random rest stop in North Carolina:
Checking up on her before sleep in Savannah, GA:
And lastly...the whole trip summed up...

Oh...I almost forgot...this happened somewhere along the way too. Anyone know where to get a new one on the cheap?

Just scanned the codes with a generic OBDII scanner and I got:
P2187: System too lean at idle speed (bank 1)
P0171: System too lean (bank 1)
Searched and it seems like it's something simply like a MAF or charcoal filters...so I'm not too worried.

Thanks Mike. I made an appt with Benz in Pompano Beach near my work for tomorrow morning. Hopefully it's something simple and I'll be back in biz before the end of the day.

parts.com is the cheapest on that particular item. Just did it two weeks ago.

Beautiful ride.. but what a bummer to have a CEL & a broken fog lense. Easy fix though.. it was surely worth the pleasure driving it down urself!

So they're thinking I either potentially have a coil-pack showing very early signs of failing, or that I might have gotten some bad gas on my drive down from NJ. Either way, I hope it doesn't come back...I thought my failing coil pack days were over when I dumped Audi!

Well the damn codes are back. Had the car back for all of a day and a half.
P2187: System too lean at idle speed (bank 1)
P0171: System too lean (bank 1)
Making another appt at the dealer now and starting to get a little PISSED
Service advisor says it could be a warped intake manifold? Could that be? I really don't feel like having anyone mess with my engine less then a week after getting the car.

I just got the same codes. From what I gathered it is an intake gasket problem.

They replaced the intake manifold gasket on my second trip to the dealer for the CEL, and since then <knock on wood>...no CEL. I think we're good now.
Now if only I could figure out how to:
-turn OFF the ridiculous cornering lights
-find a PROPER iPod solution
-make my passenger mirror dip when I put the car in reverse
....then I'd be totally happy!

your passenger mirror dips if you keep the mirror adjust button on the passenger side (it lights up when you turn on the car) when you go into reverse, and comes back up when you put the car moves forward. At least that's what mine does.
