Propain - Can we just leave this minutiae crap out of these performance threads? Please let the participants, whether it be a fun run against another board member or a solo dyne run, enjoy their moment in the sun, IMHO. It reminds me of the crap that Mxx orchestrates to keep their name alive on this forum...something that both you and I have no patience for...the fun on being here and posting here can vanish in a hurry.

the real comedy in this whole 2 forum running thread is that had i pulled a car on Jon, nobody would even know about it (he certainly wouldnt have posted a video him losing and i wouldnt have cared enough to)...he pulls 1 car on my to 130 and it's on mbworld, bboost and youtube.

seems par for the course though lol

Nice runs. A car length is pretty significant. I didn't know Jon had a "back in the day" p30 which def translates to sitting lower and stiffer suspension. OE for the win...!

I believe all the tunes for the C63 are about equal. But not all cars are created equal. Which was post by Eurocharged on the dyno same day. Some were 15whp higher. This accounts for the engines being handmade.

True. I would think that the tunes don't vary by a GIGANTIC difference, it may come down to weight, add ons, removals, and ultimately the driver. But OE has been slapping it down pretty good.

Thats why I got All Season tires. Which softens the ride a little.

Where did you get your info? You think the stock open diff weighs less then the stock LSD? Did you weigh both can you please show some proof, also lighter rotors = rotational mass and they are in the front of the car which should help weight transfer in acceleration.. Also every 100lbs in this car equals 1/10 in the 1/4 mile that's prob about a 1/2 a car length at 110-120..

Bk prior to this run how many practice runs have you done lets say 60-130 to find the sweet spots in the trans..

My suggestion for anyone listening is to not race Jon and also don't street race.

None really - this "race" was pretty spontaneous. Prior to this run, I had done three 60-130 a pulls a few months ago.
