Pics from AMG Academy Winter Pro
Guys,
Just returned from 5 days in Northern Sweden with the AMG Academy doing their Winter Pro event. As always, a amazing time. Thought you might enjoy some pics of the event. As always, taking a 450hp car, no ESP, small 2mm studs on the ice = amazing fun.
Also drove old 190Es modified into rally cars as well as the C63 Race Taxi which has LTH and 7mm ice studs. The C63 is modified with race seats, roll-cage and a few other things and just flies on the ice and man is it an experience.
Please respect the fact that these pics are copy-righted by AMG.

Next event...SLS GT3 training at Paul Ricard in 6 weeks.

I'm amazed how quickly they replaced all the C63 there with the new coupes.
Were you allowed to drive the C63 LTH Taxi?

Thanks. They were suppose to have the new SLKs there as well, but they were delivery issues so they won't up in Sweden until a few more weeks. yes I got to drive the C63 Taxi. It was amazing. This thing is set-up like a rally car with narrow tires (guessing 215/235) with 7mm studs. Rally suspension as well. Nothing like it....throw it into a turn at 90km+ and she she just grabs and runs. You need really fast hands with this baby as well as the ability to steer the car with throttle application as steering alone is not enough. Love seeing the red flash up in speedo dash demanding a up-shift. Great sound as well.

I did not take these pics. They were taken by professional who AMG has at each event. At end of the event they give you a USB stick with pics (2000+) and vids from your in-car sessions. This photographer was one hearty guy standing out there for hours on end.

Note to the person who took pic from this forum and posted to Facebook C63 page. Please provide AMG Driving Academy with the appropiate photo credit as this is the right thing to do. This is why I mentioned in OP that these are copy-righted. I am all for posting and sharing of great pics, but lets give credit where credit is due; in this case AMG Driving Academy ok?
