Anyone Come From BMW to Merc and never looked back? Pictures inside...
I was concerned that in the past that Mercedes had many more problems per vehicle. It does seem however, that the c63 as of late and possibly since 2009, as well as being hand built with the model W204, hasn't had too many issues or even any issues, in some cases.
I have always like the, " european look," like the square and chisled BMW's early on. The Merc', it appears, has tried to balance aerodynamics with a strong and agressivefront end that is more traditionally squared and manly front end. (I don't mean Manly in the Male or Female sense. A Strong Women can be,"Manly" as well...)
The Lexus, on the otherhand, with it's rounded front end, eschews more traditional looks for a soft and rounded front end who's lines, that most of us turn around to look back at as we are walking away from our Ride, seem's to fall off into oblivion. This front end does not exude confidence or strength.
I do think that the C63, IS less formal and more sporty than models of the past. I for one like the styling of the 2009-2011 models a bit more than the 2012. I also like the Navigation screen in the earlier models. The one that pops up seems to have a larger screen. I do like the steering wheel of the 2012 though...lol! Now all i need is an Alcantara roof aftermarket kit...Let the mods begin...!

O and before i forget, this thing is a lot more fun doing fast corners and a little sliding , try that with your little Bimmer :-)
For me - no question, the C63 looks like automotive ****, sounds like it and drives like it too. The M3 just looks kinda like a 3 series that wants to be a better person in it's next life.
The Best of Mercedes & AMG

The M-DCT on the M3 is pretty damn wonderful as far as I am concerned. I'm really enjoying it.
I don't know what I'll get next most likely it will be the F32 M3 or the upcoming C63 redo. If MB doesn't offer a transmission along the lines of the BMW's M-DCT then it will be hard to go back.
What BMW??? Is all I have to SAY!!!
///AMG ALL THE WAY!!! Just DO it!!!!
I never LOOKED BACK!!! the only thing I say to myself is,
"WtH was I thinking all those years???" hahahahhaha
I only really miss the DCT when driving the C63 aggressively when responsiveness and flexibility (multiple shifts instantly) are important. Around town, no big deal and the MCT is great. Other than the DCT when driving aggressively, the M3 is not missed.

If I had gotten the M3 first and gotten into a C63 now I'd probably still be salivating over the 6.2 liters of perfection. But, I did the reverse and I'm appreciating the M3's strengths.
Hell, Lexus might surprise us with the next IS-f variant. I'm not holding my breath over that but competition is great for all of us.
