picking up COUPE in 12 hrs!!!
Ok, I just cannot contain myself anymore.
I am SUPER excited, been waiting for this day for months, finally the day has arrived!
Saturday the 25th has arrived!!
I'll make sure to take pics, still have to sign over some other paperwork, and hope to GOD that there is nothing wrong with the vehicle!
Can't wait to join the club, and hope to join some of you on the track soon (Chicago area).

My new coupe at last!
First of all,
This car is 100x more beautiful in person! Better than any pictures or videos I have seen, simply cannot do it justice.
I probably just stared at the car for 20 minutes before I even set foot inside. Once I did, I was taken aback by how detailed the craftmenship is!
From the beautiful red/chrome dials, to the stictching on the leather, the wonderful feel of the thick steering wheel.
It is very comfortable for me, as a 6'4", 250lb man, the seats were snug, but very comfortable.
Did some pleasure driving in the Milwuakee area, and I actually was surprised how many looks I got! In fact, I felt a little uncomfortable with all these eyes on me
The car is simply the best vehicle I have ever driven.
Can't wait for the breakin period to be over, to really let her rip!

I couldn't agree more with you especially a black coloured car. Same goes with a White C63 with Black Rims. The dynamic range on current digital is unable to show the details of the 2 colours clearly unless you take multiple shots and photoshop them together.
I car looks sensational in real life

Yeah, I was wondering why myself.
In person it just looks so much better than I could have ever imagined. Really. The difference between the pics I've seen and the car in the flesh is difficult to put into words.
It simply POPS!
I love this car. Still can't believe it. Life is good.
But I've already noticed my neuroticism creeping up... There are some white salt/snow marks on the side of the car close to the bottom of the doors. I must clean them.
Was probably just going to take rag with warm water to clean it off,
Do you guys think I need to use chemicals, or is a simple wipe reasonable?
Cheers

hey congrats on the car!! I love the red/blk interior. I just ordered mine past friday with the red/blk interior on diamond white. How does the brushed aluminium look with the red/blk? I have ordered with black ash wood, but when i seen it in real life its not all that good looking. I might be leaning toward the brushed aluminium but not sure yet, have a couple of weeks to decide.

I'd be sticking with the Black Ash.....I believe it looks more "up market" than the aluminium. You already have a two tone trim (two colours)....adding the aluminium option will make it three (colours)....too "complicated" IMHO....so I'd be sticking with the Ash Black.
Cheers, Pickles.

Hello Pickles,
I actually have a diffrent view to you. I think the aluminium matches the aluminium parts of the steering better and gives it the flow. As with the Coupe here in Aust. the console is plain black lacquer so having ash black dash would look pretty funny. All the knobs, dials, edges of speedo, tachometer etc are aluminum based of some kind. The more I look at the aluminum the more I think it makes the care more sporty.
I originally didn't like the aluminium trim until some esle highlighted that part of the steering is aluminium as well as the dials and knobs.
In the end is what we are happy with.

After driving the car, and hearing the reaction to the interior, I am very happy with having the aluminum finish.
It is very true that there are lots of alumina elements already in the car: all the instrument dials, gauges, the steering wheel, the metal on the top of the shifter.
It adds sportiness, but IMHO does not draw so much attention to itself, the amnt used on the trim is not a whole lot.
I love it.
