Seriously, what happened??
You talked smack before the event and then a no show and no comments?
Did you jump the gun again and try to push the car to an outing when its not realistically going to be ready?
I know it takes time and $$$ to be the pioneer in situations like this but maybe you should wait until the car is actually running and ready before talking smack about seeing your tail lights.
And NO, I'm not calling you out. I make it a habit of running the numbers and then talking about it.

Agreed! East coast event would be awesome. Although I saw from one guys post that there were lines so they didnt get that many runs in. Would definitely want more of a free for all if shelling out $200 or whatever it was.

I was not at the event but I sure wish there was an event like this on the east coast.

Very typical of Jim/Rich to talk major smack and then not show up. At least that was his rep in the past from what I have read from many members.
All crap aside I was really disappointed. I was looking forward to finally seeing some results.

Agreed. Its just not going to be easy to get those kind of numbers. That's going to take cams and larger valves and a new fuel system more than likely. And hope its not a grenade.

His 8xx whp sig was bull****. Car isn't even running. Which is why I asked for dynos (which I don't care about) because I knew he was full of it. Like I used to always say... run your car not your mouth

what surprises me is that he/they said that someone at Weistec dropped the ball . not sure if i would make a statement like that about a company that does more than it's fair share to help

While cart is more than capable at defending himself, the video I have clearly shows the car running on the street and it also show the high stall convertor at work.

So then why was he a no show? Was the car running the day of the event making 800+whp is the real question. Is there a date on that vid? I've heard from multiple sources it wasn't finished but I have no first hand info so maybe it was running, would like to know what's really going on
