So terrible that i had to post it. I know, I know, why can't I let them have fun and badge their non-AMGs as AMGs... well, sure, maybe on other cars, but this one is just over the top for me. Can't I just be mad about it??

He bought AMG wheels and put on an AMG plaque. Not really "pretending" IMO. It's like slapping on Sparco stickers if he bought a Sparco seat, or Eibach stickers with the springs.

Pretending would be if he rebadged his car as a C32 Sports Coupe.

You sound so misinformed so let me educate you the W203 0r C230 did have an AMG trim line known has C30 CDI (Google it)

So unless you've seen this cars engine it could very well be an actual AMG.

So maybe you should research first before being hateful?

 

We don't consider it a real AMG unless it has the name plaque on top of the engine!

 

Especially since the manufacture who would placed an AMG badge on a C30 CDI does your statement is pointless..
