I have 3 questions concerning the 2013 C63:

1) When can you order a 2013 C63?


2) When is the earliest she would be delivered?


3) What are the changes anticipated for the 2013 model?

Dont think anyone knows about the differences.

I am ordering ours as a 2013 which I was told can be ordered June July.

Personally, I bet they raise the price and include the LSD for the p31

I don't know that any changes to the car are confirmed. My guess would be that there are no differences other than maybe what options get packaged together, etc. That is, nothing new if you were purchasing a loaded car.

2012 C63 AMG Black Series
Cars would be built as a 2013 model in July so an order with a build date then would be for a 2013 model. I don't see many changes if any. Like others have said most likely just package differences.

Im in Toronto and mine was built end of July and I had it first week of September! I was one of the first on the forum with a 2012 model

My best guess is mostly cosmetic changes... The most significant change will probably be a mbrace2 system, which is probably a good reason to go for 2013 model if you're into electronic gadgets or want to get the most out of your COMAND system:

Anybody else can answer these questions:

1) When can I actually order a 2013 c63?
2) When is earliest built date?
3) When is earliest delivery date?

I don't think we should use the 2012 MY as a guide because of the refresh, so if anybody remembers dates for the 2010 and 2011 MY, I think that would be a better guide.

Thank you for any and all info, I am still agonizing over whether to order one for 2012 now (with 6-8 week delay in black leather package) or wait a few months and order for the 2013 MY.

I heard there's a possibility they'll be moving to the 5.5 biturbo engine. More fuel efficient. That's what my dealer told me. He could just be talking s--t trying to get me to pull the trigger on the 2012. It worked.

I would bet this is BS as you say... no way they do a refresh in 2012 and then an engine change in 2013 with a new model likely due a year or two later. If they do go with a different engine, I'm glad I bought the 2012 as the engine is the highlight of the car.

No way the 5.5 bi turbo will be installed as it doesn't fit according to the bods in Affalterbach
