2013 GT500 vs C63 BlackSeries????
A CLK63 BS was able to do the ring 8:02, CTS-V was able to do it in 7:59. Can't find a time for the gt500.
But the GT500 did out do the CTS-V on another track.

The 2013 is supposed to be even better. I say the C63 BS will have its work cut out of it.

I love the C63 BS, but the 2013 GT500 (hell even the 2012) is no joke. Apparently, for 2013, Ford used what they learned from the Boss 301 Laguna Seca and applied it to the GT500. I've seen the Boss 301 LS tear it up on the track.
Because of the transmission and the suspension setup of the GT500, I'd say it would take a lot more skill to drive the GT500 properly around a track.

The GT-500 on the other hand, well, we'll just have to wait and see.
1. The drivers don't go at it all day getting used to the car while gunnning for a best overall. How many laps do they run to get the "best lap"?
2. They're people too. Maybe they were drinking the night before, a fight with the girlfriend, a bad burrito, whatever.
3. Skill level or experience.
Anyhow, cars running a few seconds apart (or a handful) are pretty much the same. Different days, different drivers, those few seconds may as well have been a few hundredths (in favor of either car).
One will barely see the difference between the two on a racetrack if not a skilled driver ...
That being said , the BS "should" be much more easier to drive fast than the GT500. I guess so .....
Specs on mine: 2011 sedan eurocharged tune, kleeman headers, charcoals removed, k&n's , H&R Springs, stock 18's with nt555's.
