C63 AMG Black Series Is Here!
Guys, I was lucky enough to pickup the C63 Black Series today! The paint finish is designo Magno Alanite Grey (matte finish) and comes with Carbon Fiber Exterior package. Doesn't have black matte wheels so I'm planning on getting that done soon. Apparently, this is the FIRST one to land in the U.S. according to my local Socal Dealer. I had a #1 spot for a Obsedian Black one but that wouldn't be due for another 1.5 months or so.
This car is EXTREMELY fast! I love the exhaust note - deeper and more amplified than the C63. The interior is absolutely gorgeous. More photos to come later. I need to "break" this thing in!

I think your dealer is probably right. You are likely the first consumer to get a delivery in the US. A MB representative told me that they released all of the C63 BS's on the East Coast to dealers on March 27th. I suspect that is the same date this car was released on the West Coast.
Please post some impressions.
In the meanwhile, I have 3 questions:
-I assume the break in mileage is 1,000 miles. What is recommended during this period?
-Are all of the vents around the wheels functional? I recall reading that the vents behind the rear wheels were cosmetic.
-I don't recall seeking the orange side markers on European versions of this car. Do you think they can be removed?
My Mars Red car is on a truck headed towards my dealer.

Congrats, that is a looker for sure, really stands out compared to the regular C63....dont touch the wheels, I think this car looks good like it is, the black wheels will detract from the overall beautiful lines.
