What does this icon on the instrument panel mean??

Hey friends,

I noticed this "A" icon the other day? I've never seen it before, and it's not there anymore... Does anyone know what it means? It's right below the coffee cup and "1".

i would guess automatic headlights

why the hell is there a coffee cup ? starbucks alert ?

Lol.. I thought it was that too, but I have never seen it there before, weird.

And the coffee cup is for the "Attention Assist". I guess it means that the computer is showing that I am "awake and alert" Lol~

......i need this icon when i get my car back from Weistec .

i would never have figured out the coffee cup icon

Thanks for the photo - just realised how cool the display window is on the 2012 upgrade - unless it is your photography skills it looks in the photo to be a 3D image?

Is your lights set to high beams? i think what it means is your light is set to high beam, and when it senses there is a car, it will automatically turn off high beam to not blind any drivers and automatically turn back on when highbeam will not disturb others

I've thought that's what it was but when I test it out, the brights don't turn off (sorry oncoming drivers )

I have had the starbucks alert (Attention Assist) go off once! It was funny. The A icon is the automatic high beams. Just pull your turn signal back towards you and it will go off.
