Just installed KW V3 coilovers last week, I have notice small squeaking sound whenever I drove over minor uneven road at slow speed or drive up the driveway. I didn't hear anything at higher speed, maybe the road noise from the tires are louder than the squeaking sound. Any KW V3 owner here have similar issues? Thanks.

Similar issue here but on H&R springs, only at very slow parking lot speeds. Going to the take it in to get it checked out.

KW V3’s here.
No squeaking.
But I’ve got it screwed down so hard if it squeaked it would explode.

I will go to the shop today, see what can they find out.

No squeeks on mine.
Could be the springs finding their "seat"

Just came back from the shop, the mechanic checked all the nuts and went for a test ride wiyth me, he thinks it's the little squeaking noise is from the strut rod when goes over bumps or uneven roads. The coilsovers were in a box for over a year, maybe one side drys up a bit? I will take it to anothe garage tomorrow.

The coilovers on the C63 should be air charged to eliminate squeaking.

Its funny because when it rains my noise goes away, very strange. Have an appointment Friday to get it look at.

Mine squeeked when they were cold until they warmed up.. Now the rears are leaking so I need to send them over to have them rebuilt.
How low is it set up right now?

KW V3's are notorious for the "squeak". There is a huge thread about it on E90 post from a few years ago. KW is aware of the issue but refuses to do anything about it. The squeak started on mine after about three months of ownership. Mostly going over small bumps at low speed. (On my old M3) As far as I know there is nothing you can do about it.

Klunking clanking rattling is price for many coil overs. Most coils run down at an angle amd are sensitive to seating and to isolation to the shock/strut tube. Look at the wear marks next time (?you?) have them apart. IMO
