My questions:
1) what's the difference between 1 piece and 2 piece? Can you use a 1 piece instead of a 2 piece?

2) what's the difference between rotors/pads for a p30/p31 vs a non p30/p31?

I have a p30 and don't like prices I see for rotors/pads. Everyone here seems to be talking about rotors/pads for non p30/p31s. Could those rotors not be used for the p30/p31 packages?

Thanks

1) 1 piece is the rotor machined from the single piece of metal. 2 piece is basically 2 pieces connected together - center part is one piece and inside mounting part is a second piece. Yes you can use 1 piece instead of 2 piece. Sorry for poor explanation, just Google it

2) P30 have completely different pads and rotors (larger and thicker). P30 and non-P30 are NOT interchangeable. I am not aware of any aftermarket pads and rotors for P30 so your only option is OEM.

Igor.

Sorry, I'm late to the thread here. But. R.K., any issues with ordering parts from that website? Are the parts 100% new and oem? Any warranty on parts? I found a dealer in the US that is way cheaper than the dealer here in Canada but the site you referenced is even cheaper. My only worry is not buying from a dealership. The site you referenced says they're a dealer but the domain name is not a Mercedes dealer website. Thanks.

Lol. I know. Down to the wire. Was going to buy brakes from dealer which is much cheaper than here in Canada but saw the link R.K. put up. Could save me another $1k. But sometimes the absolute cheapest isn't best. Just want to be sure
