HMS-Tuning Release Performance Package for Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG

German performance specialist HMS Tuning have been quick to follow up their tuning package for the SLS AMG with one for the C63 AMG, made up of a body kit, exhaust system, new wheels, brakes, suspension and a range of performance enhancements.Depending on your needs and budget, HMS Tuning offers different performance stages, ranging from modifying the ECU and adding a sports filter, to adding Y-Pipes with sports catalytics and a performance valve exhaust system.




The stainless-steel quad exhaust is also available on its own for €3,687, although the bumper needs to be cut out in order to fit it.The stock 6.3-liter naturally-aspirated V8 produces 451hp and 443lb-ft of torque; after a Stage 5 upgrade, priced at just over €10,000, that can be boosted to 545hp and 494lb-ft.The tuning company also offers three supercharger kits, the most potent of which increases power to 690hp and 646lb-ft of torque. With installation a Stage 3 kit will set you back almost €28,000.

The body kit for the C63 AMG consist of a carbon-fiber rear diffuser, rear fin, a front bumper in either carbon-fiber of fiberglass with LED daytime running lights, and rear fender flares also available in these two material types.19-inch bi-colored 5-spoke alloys, brake upgrades and a KW Clubsport Coilover suspension complete the tuning kit. If you want the entire list of upgrades, it will cost in the region of €50,000.

Are these the new fender flares they've been working on? I think the original flares would flare out an additional 1" and the new model is supposed to be an extra 2" wide.

 

The diffuser looks good.

This is the part that will cost you $ especially with the labor rates in the US.

 

of course... i doubt there will be many people who get these and tack them on just for looks without going wider tires

now molding them to the body will be the problem
to mold or not mold

You will already have a chopped rear quarter after the alteration. So mold it for sure.
