Another trip to the drag strip... P31 car there.
Here's a vid of one of my runs... I can't get under 1.83 60' and its driving me crazy. I tried increasing rpms 200 at a time up to 1800rpm... Only thing I didn't try and should have is just hammering it off idle..
I don't get any bog, car dead hooks and goes, but can't get it any lower
I have no clue how you guys are getting 1.6 1.7, I suck.

There was also a 2010 or 2011 running there, he was doing 12.5 @112mph. My best run was 11.8 at 118mph.
Any advice guys??

I run very similar times to you with similar mods (how ever I don't have a race tune). My best 60 is 1.82 and best et is 11.80@119.65mph. I think our tracks don't allow us to run faster 60s due to poor da. My et corrects to a 11.3@124. Very happy with that. I find the more I brake stall the slower my 60s. Can not figure how to get under 1.8

Hooiser dot drags, 275/40/17. 18-20psi. 3-4second burn out. Track was prep good I assume. Traction wasn't a problem. I would dead hook.
There was 9 second heavy hitters running in my lane doing wheelies when they launched.

Well I went from 4.2 seconds to 3.8 seconds 0-60 with the race gas tune.
As I said in another thread my friend with an 06 viper with long tube headers, full exhaust, 94 oct tune, throttle body an intake did a best of 11.6 at 122mph. He's probably around 600hp and 3500lbs.
The 2010 P31 car was only running 12.5 @ 112mph...
My stock times at this track were 13.5 @ 106mph.
A GTR with downpipe and tune was doing 11.5 @ 121mph...
My Mom has 69 firebird that's 3750lbs and 590hp. It runs 11.3 @ 119mph.. But her 60' is 1.6... Mine is 1.83..
And as you seen that vette did 13.5 in the video.
I wish I kept my OE tune to compare tunes..
