63 Programmer and Tune Sale!!! Flash your own car without opening the ECU!!
Thanks! You are correct they told me the same thing today.
Sent the VIN and ECU #'s today.
now just waiting...
Also, check your PM for a message from me. I have asked both you and Jerry to re-send the v4 tune for the header set up, but haven't seen anything come through. The last time Jerry tried it would go out from his business account.
I'm trying to figure out if there was something wrong with the one that was sent and it didn't load or if there is a possible leak somewhere and my car is losing a large amount of horsepower.
I had the v4 tune that was sent to me loaded and I didn't run any faster than a tune only after I had the headers installed. It's almost like the tune wasn't there at all, but I know I loaded it.
The Best of Mercedes & AMG
I am now changing my cars name. She is no longer to be known as Black Betty. From this day forward she is a he and his name is Marshawn. As in Marshawn Lynch. Cos this car is now fully, FULLY, in Beast Mode. The pull is just.....phenomenal. The shifting seems sharper too. All season tires, cold asphalt, traction control full on and I hit chirps shifting from 2nd to 3rd gear.
My 7 year old son Ben is in the back seat reading on the way to school and he looks up
and says "what did you do to your car Dad? It feels even faster". When a 7 year olds butt dyno lights up you know you are on to something. And spare me the lecture about hitting the hammer with the kids in the car. My top speed was not outrageous - it was all about the acceleration.
Anyways, if you take your car caffeinated you better be too cos this is what its gonna look like through your windshield:

Best damn coin Ive spent on a car in a loooong time.
For one, let me tell you, NO ONE beats eurocharged's customer service. Jerry replied to my emails almost instantly to all my stupid annoying questions. Even late at night.
Now, for the car. All i can say is, you havn't driven a c63 till it has gotten tuned. WOW. I have conti 5ps and the car begs for traction. Maybe it's just my tires, well im pretty sure its just my tires, but with the tune the car can't hook till up to 30 mph, it goes side to side crazy with power. I got the v4 and can't really compare it to the previous v3 but shifts are very comfortable and seem very right. Before the car was kind of jerky on downshifts in M mode but now it's really smooth. The pull is phenomenal. Did a couple races with previous people i've raced stock and lets just say i've added atleast 2 car lengths to what i used to win by. Throttle response in c and s mode is much more responsive, hated the lag before so it has been on M mode ever since i can remember. The car used to seem slower from 70+ MPH before but now it just keeps going. Reached 140 on a road i used to only hit 120 on before. All in all, if youre looking for a tune, eurocharged is the way to go. The car has finally woken up from it's slumber and ready to eat some asphalt.
More to add, keep finding out new things as i drive the car. PADDLE shifter response is quicker. Exhaust note is definitely louder, idk if its just in my head but i could swear it's louder than before.

Thanks.
I had no problems flashing the tune onto the car origionally but when I tried to put the standard map back on I got as far as the progress bar and nothing happened. I left it for a few minutes but no progress so I had to abort.
Next time I tried the tuner was saying I had to use the recovery function due to the failed attempt before I assume. It went through the dash on and off process and to the writing stage then displayed an error saying invalid security code
Anyone had similar or have any advice please?
I took my daughter to school and she said "the car feels like it is going faster" so that was my independent butt dyno test.
When I get the 100 octane tune I will give an update. No planned time at any track any time soon but will see how it feels on a couple of empty roads in the desert.
