2012 C63 exhaust
Hi,
I recently picked up a 2012 C63 wagon w/ PP in Palladium Silver.
** Pics to follow eventually when I'm done with some aesthetic exterior mods.... PROMISE!
Some questions
Does the exhaust get louder as it gets run in?
Does the exhaust get louder after break-in service?
Picked the car last friday with 20miles on the odometer and managed to clock an additional 160miles over the weekend.
Been baby-ing the car... no revs above 4000rpm and no speeding above 75mph... all in C mode

I'm at 2k miles and I feel like mine's louder.. It was always loud on cold start and high revs but seems louder through mid range.. I'm slacking as a sound engineer, I should have recorded levels when I got it to know for sure!!

Just curious ... I've always thought the exhaust on the 2010 I have now isn't as loud (doesn't sound as good) as the 2009 I had previously. Wondering if it changes by model year/car.

I've gotten comments that the cold start of my old '09 scared the crap out of them when they were standing about 20 feet behind the car. Course it was a female who told me that so...take that with a grain of salt lol

X2 when i was moving some stuff with both my seats folded down I realized it got abit louder. I was tempted to go faster even though I was carrying a bunch of stuff lol

drove straight from dealer to my preferred tint shop.... 30% all round... front windscreen clear.
next was the vinyl shop to get the chrome bits matte black....half & half shots
other side... half & half....
finally done....
next was the front grill , front gloss black lip and LEDs.... matte black
left the star chrome, rest of the grill matte black....

In the mean time...Gonna get the badges darken, possibly get the star matte black with vinyl.
