Now I'm a 100% AMG Family
My wife and I had the chance to participate in the AMG driving academy back in April. Ever since she has been talking about the 2012 SLK55 non stop. We were going to wait until a CPO'd one hits the market however, her G35 sedan started to act up and I did not want to waste another penny on that car. She quickly took advantage of this situation and informed me of a SLK55 at a local dealership. Well, needless to say I didn't put up much of a fight.

The car is pretty nice and the pickup is not too shabby either. Once broken in I do plan on getting a tune. My wife already wants to run her against my C

Actually, I only placed third, thinking if which I still have not received my prize (detailing kit). I have to call them.I will certainly post video of our results, though I think my tuned C63 will prove too tough.

Yeah, I'm so glad she wanted a performance vehicle. Originally, she wanted a Mini Cooper
Not knocking the car, but it just doesn't do anything for me. The AMG driving school was my best investment. Now I won't mind driving her car when I need to.

nice! these SLKs do look good in AMG form
I've been wondering which one is faster as well. the slk is abit down on power and tq but its lighter....although deep in my heart i still believe my car will take it hahaha.

We get the same cone for the first place team. For the individual top three times of the day prizes are awarded. Third place gets a car detailing kit worth $300. Second place gets an IPAD 2
First place gets an AMG racing helmet. AMG runs a great program. The food was even good.

Hi,
could you tell me which is faster in a straight line. A C63 AMG coupe or a SLK 55 AMG ( latest models ). I thought I had at last decided which car to buy ie. CLS63 AMG but after going to the dealership today and finding out the cls is only a 4 door ( I was looking at a CL and I cant justify the cost ) my decision has changed. Any info would be great. At the moment I'm favoring the c63 coupe in white.
