Exclamation Anyone in South Florida with C63 Willing to do wheel fitment.

Hey guys. I have found a wheel company in fort lauderdale with cheap and awesome looking rims. Problem is that they do not make rims for the C63 due to our high offsets. They have a set in stock that is 20x9 front with +35 offset and 20x10.5 with +42 offset. I am looking for a very aggressive look with the wheels possibly even sticking out past the fender with a stretched tire. If i could have someone do a test fitment I would be able to hook them up with a promotional price of around 1600 for a set. Otherwise they are 2200 for anyone else interested in a set. They are called Incurve wheels and this is a link: http://www.incurvewheels.com/Wheels.html

I would greatly appreciate some help asap and please contact me. These wheels are very similar to ADV.1 and HRE wheels for about a quarter of the price.

Good luck on the fitment & hope ur car is not lowered cuz 20x10.5 +42 is crazy aggressive!

BTW, what do u mean by "similar" to ADV or HRE? Are they monoblock forged or they just have the same design?

none of the usual price competitive options fit your fancy?

i dunno... I guess I always thought tires and wheels are like shoes to a basketball player... go with what you know works.

however, GL and post pics if you do get them

guys do you think this fitment will be too agressive? Can anyone calculate how much poke the wheels will have past the fenders if any and if I will have any issues clearing those massive calipers. Please let me know. I dont really understand the whole offset concept and how it changes. P.S based on a offset calculator online. It says that going from a 8 inch rim in the front with a +45 offset to a 9 inch rim with a +35 offset will give me 3mm less on the inside of the wheel and the wheel will extend 23mm from its stock position. In the back there will be 7mm less inner clearance with an extension of 31mm. Anyone that has a clear understanding please let me know. This is the website i used. http://kgm.tiwing.com/calcs/offsetcalc.htm

Are you trying to do hellaflush or something? Because that would look stupid on a c63

Why? It's common among M3's and RS4's. Why not see a dropped C63 on slightly stretched tires?

it just annoys me as hell. performance cars were meant to be driven hard not in sparks to a meet where the owner talks about his "fitment". sctrected tires seriously hinder performance as well as safety.

I havent seen M3s and RS4s do it here....at least the newer ones. usually popular with kids in VW and Hondas where they would put like 17x9.5 +22 on their car and stretch 215s on there

It's a completely different scene which I personally think is cool.
I'm not that extreme to follow the idea of form>function but I do like a well fitted wheel setup with a nice drop on a performance car.
Maybe the age factor is the main reason for liking and disliking the stance scene.

I just bought 3-piece 19" Cargraphic Racing Wheels with deep lips (not new) to play around with the fitment. I will use them as my third set just for fun. I don't see anything wrong with that

They are nowhere near as ADV or HRE, they may look similar but they are cast not forged!

.
Fronts should be fine. The back is the issue with the low offset and wide width. It might rub against the rear shock.

Yes I will. I'm having the front calipers changed out under warranty.
I had a brake fluid flush and a few weeks later the fluid was leaking out ( from the threads ) not the bleeder nipple. so the dealer got new bleeder valves and no luck so new 6 piston brembos for my ride.
My service manager is AMAZING guy treats my car like an SLR and only 1 tech drives and touches my baby. He says I'm super **** about the car so he doesn't want nothing going wrong. Btw the tech is extremely knowledgeable and a car guy.

Guys bleed your brakes every 2 years a d flush that tranny as requested. Just a tip

I'd go now but I'm pushing a mayonnaise colored GLK lol

thanks for the tip man... well he treats it like an SLR cuz it is a baby SLR haha :P Also i dont think non-car guys would ever be interested in the C63 cuz in my opinion it is a complete sleeper. Most people that dont know about cars just think its a regular C-class. That is why im sorta tempted to rebadge my car as a C230 4Matic and smoke random vettes where the owners dont know better haha :P Anyways let me know when you will be able to go do the test and we will stay in touch. THanks alot btw I appreciate it. If only everyone in the world could be as kind as you guys here on MBworld.... The world would be a beautiful place :P
