Took the cars out for a run....

My brother, nephew and I took our cars for a Texas Hill Country run. Some of the best winding roads out there. Thought I would share some pics....

Thanks man. The turbo is my brother's car. It's mint! Only has 16k miles on it and it's a 92.

The Porsche is actually a 964 (91-92) with ORIGINAL 965 (94) wheels. The 993 model Porsche were years 95-98.

Good eye. The wheels are off a 965 but the car is a 964. The 965 (94) had a bump in liters to 3.6 from 3.3 for the the 1994 model. Both the 964 and 965 model run very close in performance. Below is a picture of my brother 94 965 he had (the only car he ever regrets selling) it only had 20k miles on it. BTW do you own a red 930?

Here's a pic of my brother's 993 turbo and my 993. Kind of gives you a comparison between the 964 and 993 models. His black turbo in this picture was the fastest car our family has ever owned. It was a beast! Enjoy

Yes sir. All 911s prior to 2001 were air cooled.

You should have kept the red 993. It looks incredible with the RUF bumper and wheels. One of the best 911's ever made.

Thanks. It was a great car. It had a PSS9 suspension that was corner balanced by Ruf in Dallas. Ruf 19s and a full Ruf exhaust. It also had an original Ruf CTR bumper (fiberglass). It was a lot fun.
