Has anyone on here purchased this AMG Hood Emblem for their C63?

I am really thinking about it. It looks legit and its a nice little addition to the Merc

Hey all,
I got mine delivered today. Like an idiot, I can't figure out how to get the damn emblem to stick to the metal piece. I peeled the 3M backing off and the back of the emblem is sticky as hell, but it won't stick to the hood ornament part. Am I missing something?
I've held it in place for minutes on end trying to fuse the two pieces together, but if I flip the ornament over, the emblem falls right off.
Other than not sticking, it does look good.
Thanks for any advice.

It's looking great! Do u have to remove the Oem emblem first? If so, how hard is it?

got mine and installed in 5 minutes.
had the problem with it not sticking, so i put some 3M industrial double sided tape on the back in the middle of the emblem and it worked great.
not hard at all to remove the stock emblem, just open the hood, and find the spring loaded latches, squeeze them together and the emblem pops up.
the replacement emblem has the same mechanism and fits perfectly.
I think it looks really nice, and you can always put back the stock one with no fuss.
great find guys.

Finally the right size! Is it really Aluminum and does it fit perfectly? Is it machined well or does the emblem look like crap? Looks a little depressed into the spot still a bit...
I am gonna get one but wanna know...

Yeah the stick on emblem has an aluminum base. The logo has raised edges as well so its pretty good quality IMO compared to other one available where the emblem is covered in a thin coat of resin. Fits perfectly in place of the OEM emblem. Very easy to take off, just pop your hood and underneath the emblem are two tabs you squeeze together and it comes straight off. Apply the emblem to the base after you've set the base on your hood so that you get it on straight and you're done. Just for reference, anything within the black part of the emblem is the aluminum piece that sticks to the base. The chrome trim on the edge is part of the base. See my pics below (apologize for the dirty car, this was done in February!):
