What are the engines 100% built by AMG?

What are the engines 100% built by AMG?
I know that the first engine 100% built by AMG was the M156. Before that, they just tuned MB built engines.

Can someone list the engines 100% built by AMG? Is the V12 Bi-Turbo that we can find in the CL65 built by them or MB?

All the AMG rated engines are BUILT by AMG, but I'm pretty sure the M156 and M159 engines are the only engines fully developed by the fokes at AMG.

So the M157 and all the others one are not built built by AMG? Why do they put the thing that says handcrafted then?

All AMG engines are built in-house by AMG. The M156 is the first engine designed by AMG, as previous AMG engines have always been based on original Mercedes engines.

Yes, I was actually confused because I thought that all the engines with the thing that says handcrafted by whoever are designed by AMG.

Now I have my answer, so thanks again guys, learning every day lol

Enjoy your AMG and even if your engine was not designed by AMG, knowing that it was built by them is why we push them.

FF. W212 E63 M156 non-pano 18" P2 ParkT NightV (gone but will be missed).
M159 is based on M156. Thus the M156 is the only AMG engine designed from the ground up by AMG.
