Guys I just slapped on a set of Pilot SS tires on all 4 corners and all I can say is wow!!!!
I had a set of Invo's and they blow the Invo's out of the water.
All I keep asking myself is why did I wait this freaken long to get them
I love driving the car all over again.
It grip is amazing and the more you lean into the corners, she begs for more.
Pilot SS's are the way to go...
The minute they got to my house, they got thrown in the car and straight to the tire shop I went.

Great choice. The sports are now the top of the line in performance street tire from Michelin suitable for daily drivers and occasional track work.
I also prefer the Michelin Pilot Sport Cups since they're amazing in dry weathers but in the wet one they're horrible. Also their tread is terrible as they will be bald in less than 5k miles on the street but their grip is fascinating

The Sport Cups are really on a different level and more of a track oriented R-comp tire. I wouldn't personally run Cups on a daily basis as they could be less comfortable, louder, not be good in the rain and would last as long as a stick of butter on the car. For track days, lots of guys run them and LOVE them.

Exactly, though I'm using MT street radials for the moment, still I don't use my car on a daily basis. If I wasn't using MT's I would choose the Cups for a street race also to handle all the TQ in the car. Cups are good for a track use too but wouldn't you prefer to use some MT/Hoosier DR instead to drop more time ?

I got a little over 20K kms, so a bit more than 12K miles on my last set of rears (Hankook V12s) and I drive relatively aggressively. It's been said for awhile now, rear tire wear on this car is directly related to how little toe-in you have dialed in. The reason so many owners get so little mileage is because the factory dials in lots of toe-in to achieve better stability. It has nothing to do with negative camber (I'm lowered too), monster torque or ****ty tires, etc.

FYI for those considering these....don't get the 265's in the rear...just stick with 255.
I recently bought the 265's and they looked SO awkwardly big that I couldn't handle the size of the sidewall. I sold them and bought 255's and they're perfect.
Oddly enough, there is NO actual difference in the width of the tire. See picture. The dirty tire is the 265. The clean one is the 255. Both unmounted. The dirtiness adds to the illusion of being narrower, but I actually measured, and there was about a 2mm difference in width, which is NOT worth looking at that huge ugly sidewall on the 265.
