Excellent run although concerning the extreme conditions
For wider tires you will most likely need to roll the rear fenders to accomodate the increased width. I've seen people put 355 width tires on the rear. Slicks will definitely help but make sure you do a proper burn out before taking off. You might also want to look into a skinnier front tire and losing non-essential weight from the car.
I ran headers, tune, race gas, -200lbs and did 11.9 at 118mph. DA was around 3000ft.
But on topic, like even money said, get some 17inch rims and run Hooiser dot drags, you should be able to dead hook with those.
I was dead hooking and couldn't get into the 1.7's on 60'...

CCW will do 17 inch rims for 1000$.
I got lucky and found some knock off 17s for 200 bucks woo. Def get Hooiser DOT drag radials. They are really good.
