C63 Fatality in Houston?
I saw this on the news on the weekend, very sad and unfortunate outcome. Looks like a C63 from the brief news coverage.

Wife seriously injured.
It was a 35mph zone.
God, that sucks.
I was there at that exact place last Tuesday.
I don't see 120mph happening, not on my watch, not with the construction crew all over the place and **** loas of construction debris in lanes..
Hope we can find out more information.

Very sad indeed. Makes me think of the many times I went really fast in my last C63...*shudders*.
Never doing it again. Glad I got it out of my system without killing myself.

There's a very good reason that there are tracks. Driving at that speed - in night on the back roads - zoned for 35 mph with the spouse.
I sincerely hope no alcohol was involved.
The road itself is wide enough to fit one car with only once lane in each direction and only a dashed yellow line dividing the two opposite lanes.
There are a quite a lot of landscaping companies - plant nurseries spread in that area and generally lots of debris from the vehicles transporting trees - mulch - stones.
Unlike many roads which are rated at way lower speeds, 35 is a very good speed limit for that area considering narrow single lanes - heavy construction traffic - and middle of the fields location.

even if the road didn't have "humps" in it , doing 120mph in a 35mph zone , at 4:05 a.m. , with a passenger (his wife of all people) is absolutely idiotic .
i will be absolutely shocked if alcohol was not a factor
