BBS CH-R or TSW Interlagos
Have been looking for 19's for a while now. And finally have to make a decision as I have burned my first set of rear tires. I initially bought a set of replica SLS wheels from a forum sponsor but those didn't work out correctly and I luckily was able to return them. I have been eying this set of BBS CH-R on ebay and have been looking at a set of Interlagos. Can't decide between the two.
I don't plan on lowering but am afraid of the aggressive offset of the BBS wheels. I am trying to budget around $3000 for a set of wheels and tires. If I get the BBS wheels I am planning on getting them powder coated either flat black or gunmetal finish since they are currently silver. I have also been eyeing a set of forgestar CF5's.
Just can't decide.

Yeah I had seen they were sold . Anyways the set I am looking at are a good deal and come with near new tires and tpms and lugs and everything. And I found a place recommended by BBS to powder coat them for $95 a wheel including unmounting and re-mounting/balancing the tires

The offsets are pretty aggressive et40 front and et45 rear.
The seller was running the standard tirerack recommended tires 235/35 front and 255/30 rear Continental Conti 3's. I will eventually upgrade to a 265 rear. Tires and rims are in almost new condition. Will hopefully throw them on tomorrow after work

19x9.5 +45mm is aggressive. 255, 265 or 275 will work fine if you don't lower your car... but if you do, I would stay with 255.

On a side note does the factory suspension with oe multispoke 19's differ from the suspension with the oe18's? Like the spring pads or anything? I would think a,g wouldn't let the rear sit too high with the multispoke 19's

Same suspension no matter if your car comes with OEM 18's or 19's... unless your car has Performance Package which sits a tad lower than non-PP cars.
Are you thinking of dropping the front & only changing the spring pads in the rear to close the wheel gap? Might work... LOL
Well, once you install your wheels, do all the measurement before you switch to 265 or 275... cuz big chances are you will want a drop in the near future with aftermarket wheels. I was in the same boat 2 years ago when I told myself I will keep it at stock height... lol !

^^ Yes, I got the thicker spring pads to raise the rear.. it's now more even with the front.
Here is a quote from member superbublicity in the past:
^^ This is what the 17mm spring pads is (from superbublicity post):
Forgot to post this photo of the Spring Pads.
On the Left, Pad #4 (Part # A 210 325 04 84) - 17mm
On the Right, Pad #3 (Part # A 210 325 03 84) - 13mm <- This one is standard on the C63

BBS for sure.
And it's pretty lame how H&R can't seem to get the rear ride height right on cars. I need to STACK a stock rear pad and 10mm pad to get the right stance on an old car I had.

much thanks for the info! once i find a reputable installer nearby I will get it done. if the gap between the front and rear isnt that big I might just leave it alone.
