Palladium grey with ash grey and black two toned interior. Another user on this forum says it is in new condition. No nav and no hk, but i dont really need those anyway (i hate mb command). 6k miles, one owner, 2 full years of original warranty left, old man driven, $49,000. I know it isnt the deal of the century but i think it is pretty darn good no? Any final words of advice?
Im flying down to charlotte and driving home 600 miles next week!

I think you have a better car and better deal at a local dealer here:

What ever you decide... don't look back and enjoy the car.

Since mine was a private party buy, I had it inspected by a local MB dealership. It's just a good thing to do to make absolutely sure everything is up to spec. For example, I got a full report of the car. In the 100+ point inspection, they notated what was good and what needed service (such as brake fluid, warranty issues, etc.) and replace anything under warranty before you get it. According to the report, the Comand dial wasn't functional and was replaced before I got the car. The brake pads were low so I asked Rob if he would replace them before I picked up the car and he did.
Might be a waste of $200, but I call it due diligence. Btw, Schumacher MB in Arizona does these for free even if it isn't a car they're selling.

That's a good deal if everything checks out. You are basically getting a car that was probably driven once or twice a week and in pretty much brand new condition assuming the previous owner took care of it.

Only bring it to an MB dealer (if you are in the Charlotte area you have many to choose from). If you absolutely have to, find an MB only shop but you're going to want to go to a place where "certified" doesn't just mean joe blow mechanic looking it over for leaks. They should check th frame, inspect and measure gaps on all body panels, paint thickness, as well as mechanical, suspension etc and should give you a printout with the guarantee of their findings.
Depending on how much you trust this dealer, you may just want to have them take it to an MB dealer before you get there, however you run the (small but real) risk of collusion.

Car getting inspection and records. Bought smoked reflectors and not sure what to do about front plate. Car has no front plate and no holes drilled. RHO bracket is an option but looks kinda funny like an evo. Any other recommendations?

You are SO RIGHT!!!
OP - take the drive west to Asheville. The leaves havent started turning yet but it will still be beautiful. And BRP is an AMAZING drive. I took my 63 there a couple years ago....the twisties are amazing and the sound of your throttle blips and WOT in the small tunnels is intoxicating. DO IT!
