I had it on my 63 before I went with the H&R Sport springs. I did not have any issue with stock clearance. It sits at about stock height, maybe a quarter inch lower, if that. You will just need to watch your entries and exits, as well as low dips. Take the angles, but based on your admission, you need practice. The chin is very easy to scrape/rip off. Try, try, try to hit things at the 45 degree angle. Take your time.
Just trying to pass on my experience. Good luck and take care of your undercarriage.

i see from your sig that you have the carlsson lip on the 2010 and that it's not lowered. so you dont have many scraping issues?

my current lip is really low ... i have about 4.5 inches of clearance at the center of the lip (the lowest point). if you get a second, would you mind checking what the clearance is on your carlsson lip at the lowest point?
just a thought, why not try it? worst case scenario: you remove the chin spoiler. the lip will still function and look good without it. or install and wait until you rip it off.
i will say again though, if you are scraping now, do not get the lip until you figure out your lines and smooth your entry/exit. just be patient- that is the key!!

and you are right, i might as well use the cracked lip i have now to get better at not scraping. but like i said, my driveway (of all places) is the only place that gives me problems due to the narrowness of it, which limits the angles that i can cut.
