Traded my 10 P31 for a 13 P31
Quick story and some pics. This week I got a call from the guy I lease my cars from. He wanted to know how I was liking my 2010 C63 (Black on Black, P31 w/ all options & 27k miles). I told him that I was still enjoying it. He said, the reason he was calling is that he came across a 2013 special order car that someone backed out of and he could get me into. So I did the deal and swapped my 10 P31 for a 13 P31.....

It's not iridium. This color actually has a tint of blue in it. When I first saw it, I struggled with the shade but I really like it.
As for a comparison between the two, I really like the updates cosmetically outside and the interior is far nicer than the 10. There are alot of new electronics and driver's aids that I need to figure out and will be glad to share. I am guessing performance will be the same once it's broken in. The suspension however does feel tighter. I am looking forward to using the additional sport setting and race start. What I love the most is that despite all the improvements, I get the same addicting sound! I have had the car now for 24 hours and really like the 13!!

I'm considering the same but am not in love with the little nips and tucks. So am in strong consideration to keep my '10 despite the little electronic junk upgrades. Plus all the dash noise, over heating, and electrical issues that the '12-up are having...Personally I think the illuminated door sills is such a feminine, ridiculous option like no other...its not a GMC Denali...
Look at the paint code in the door. It's most likely iridium...

Hey guys the color is Diamond Silver Metallic. Check the MB build data online. Not sure why you are having such a hard time accepting this as a valid color?

The paint code is 988 Diamond Silver. I previously had an iridium e55 and this color has blue in it. My iPhone pics and /or the sun may not have shown the color accuratley. Here is the link to the pics the dealer posted before I got the car.
Let me know your thoughts on the color and if you guys like it. Coming from black and silver cars this was a big jump for me. I don't think I'll see many of these on the road.

OP, congrats on the upgrade. I prefer the exterior of my 2010, but love the new facelift interior. And yes, the 2012 + seems to have few electronic glitch from ppl posts.. So hope urs is worry free.

I love the color in person, it would be my first choice on an ordered 13 C63, well done...it reminds me almost exactly of Porsche Polar Silver

Sorry Zephyr, my initial post was not the most well thought out and all of this is unnecessary - I doubt you look down your nose at lesser cars....
I commute 80 miles a day so always end up with the highest output 6 cyl version, as opposed to taking the leap at a real HP monster like the C63 (still have a gen 1 3.6 cts, wimped out on the V, sold my 330Ci for this car, wimped out on the M3, C350 now, you get the idea). I love this car, but it certainly could use a little more power...
