just hold it for a good 5 seconds that should be enough to learn it.
but you got to have a second person press the learn button on the garage opener box while you hold the homelink button doen

Yeah...the 2nd part is the trick. I haven't been able to get ANYONE from my HOA to respond to my request about that. I've asked them like 3 times.
