Wheel spacer and stock suspension
I'm also searching for a set of 12mm front & 10mm rear for my future OEM 19's set.

Spacer = bad long term

The more I read, the more horror stories I discover. I guess I should keep reading and do some more considering. Like you mentioned I can always come back to them. Considering camber pressure and the force exerted on tight cornering and track use I am afraid of instant damage...
Now to get my H&R springs back....

As Craig mentioned, I would not use them if I was to track/drag race my car or drive aggressively at every highway curves. Although I believe Dads, olszowa & Dome are using spacers at the track w/o problems.. But for me, I would get nervous. Daily driving for cruising or doing errands is fine.
This is only my opinion & I'm not trying to tell ppl that spacers are safe.. They just have to be used with caution. And in all honesty, I would not have bought the OEM 19's multispoke if I didn't have this option on pushing them out as I think they don't look good sunk in. Advan F15 would be my next choice if no spacers. *drool*

The Best of Mercedes & AMG
The H&R Trak+ spacers lock the wheel and hub. I ran 10mm hubcentric spacers with longer wheel studs upfront with no issues or virbrations and they were perfectly flush without negative affects on cornering or speed.....just tryin to dispell some myths
I'm not trying to take away from anyone's comments here...just giving my personal experience.

I have always said that when showing off their new cars always do 3 things. Lower, tint and spacer. If you look at print ads for everything from a Honda Fit on up. When LFM and I went to the unveiling of the RS5, Audi had put 20mm spacers on it. Never said this before but they were pretty hot looking?!?!?
As for safety and engineering everybody has to make the call they are comfortable with. 10mm of spacer on either side of your car adds .85 of an inch. Total. We have a wider track than a regular C, and the black series has a wider track than us. Personally, I think the .85" falls within some zone of tolerance. I have used them on several cars, on several track days, and never had an issue. Mind you I have always used the H&R widetraks. As mentioned prior, they come with bolts. I think that if there was any danger of bolts shearing off or anything like that, H&R wouldn't sell them. Not because of conscience or anything, but rather fear of litigation where payouts would dwarf profits on such a cheap item.
To me, the amazing thing is how much difference 10mm makes. My wife will never notice it, but car guys always mention the nice stance. Follow your heart.
