Mine is a headturner for sure ) considering that my country is pretty small and poor also ) there are only 2 c63s registered in my country and in two different cities so mine is the only one in capital )
I get thumbs up and some questions bout the car all the time. Every time i stop at lights i get some strange looks and thumbs )
People that can afford AMGs either get the CL or S in here ) so C class is a rarity )

@ farhadamad
I installed my new mirror caps a few days ago but I still let them white
The mirrors are way too big for my taste to paint them in a flashy colour like that.
On a GT3 it looks pretty cool because the mirror is slim an small

@ Q..
I don't wash my car by the hand
But we have a pretty good car wash in my city where my C get a really gentle cleaning.
Also the rims get totally clean there

I got more attention in my stock Evo than my stock C63.

I got my C63 to fly under the radar, its working.

I've only had one comment since owning the car at a 7-11 someone noticed the badge on the side.

Only from people who look like they would be interested in cars, AKA guys. Everyone else, AKA women, just thinks it's another mercedes.

Back when I had my E46 M3 I got tons of thumbs up all the time, when I switched to a 997 I had DPE gold wheels and I got attention everywhere. When I had the Porsche EVERYONE that drove a Porsche waved. Even families in Cayennes lol.

The C63 has been a nice change, I rarely get looks from anyone and when I do its typically E90 or E92 M3 drivers who wave or thumbs up. I don't think I have ever gotten a wave from any W204 drivers (70% of them tend to be women). In fact I have only seen 2 or 3 C63s on the road here in Dallas while driving my car and it didn't seem like any of them were car enthusiasts. One guy was even smoking in his car =/.

Silver coupe- stock. No one's noticed except the dealer service guys the first time in. They've only sold one or so- I live semi-rural.
I bought the car for it's stealthiness. So far it's working. Able to glide down the highway at 80-90mph on my commute.
The suspension is incredible. I have a Watkins Glen / Laguna Seca for the first 5 miles of my commute- apexing every turn at 6:00 am. It's really tough to upset this car. It handles weight transfer faster than my track prepped vette- just pushing that light corner right back down way quicker than the vette.
It looks like the Holden made Pontiac GTO - which was pleasing to look at.
I am sure the designer had a pic of the Holden nearby as he didn't want it to get too similar.
Now I think the BS would catch attention on the uninformed. And of course the white with orange wheels.
I couldn't be happier with my stock P30 coupe.
I would have bought a wagon if they brought it to USA.

To be honest , no. IMHO C63 is like nothing in SoCal area , plenty of C63s in my school parking lot.

not sure what mind to develop means, but I'm guessing you want me to elaborate.

If so, I will. A CL is not a head turner. You live in south florida, you should know this. In major metropolitan areas, porsches, bmws, mercedes, and similar are in no way attention getters. People might notice a maserati, but they are fairly common also. Without a ferrari/lambo/fisker (for the enviro folks)/macca, etc, you simply aren't getting more than a passing glance.

Agreed. I've seen a few C63's on the road. I pull up next to wave at them and they always just look forward. Like I don't exist. Even worse with other AMG's like SL's, S's, CL's, CLS's, etc. They're in their own world when driving. :P

Funny thing is a lot of us Evo owners sold our Evo's for German V8's. M3's, RS4's, C63's..

I actually only think I get more attention from that demographic because of the red. Then the notice the rims and the cf. But if I was rolling stealth, I'd probably only get attention from other enthusiasts or European car owners.

That's funny, because I live in Miami and at every red light everyone is turning their head trying to see who's driving the car. If I took a picture of every person who stared at my car, my hard drive would be full.

It might be hard to believe, but unfortunately we don't see that many CLs around. Maybe one or two per day (mostly cl550)

I'm sure people who live in miami will confirm.

This applies to all AMGs, I rarely see them around, besides the CLS.

In the other hand, I agree that Porsche and BMWs are literally all over the place. (Specially 911s and M3s)

where i live ( city has a little over 1 million) both BMW and Mercedes are fairly common. of course that depends on your definition of common.

but id say i see more Mercedes. when you count up all the different models Mercedes has, theres ALOT.

of course there not amg's. amg's are much more rare. probably more rare than ///M's.

although id say i see more E90 M3's than i do c63's.
but im sure there's an obvious reason for that.
