C63 Hood on a C300?

Don't know if this is a repost or not but I tryed searching and couldn't find anything on it. So the question is will a C63 hood fit on a C300? The little I found on another forum is that it will if also using the front grill off the C63, is this correct or is there more to it?

Will NOT fit. The C63 hood is longer.
However, if you do a search you can find C63 look a like hoods out there.

Is that even if using the C63 Grill as well?

thing is, the c63 is a few inches longer than the normal w204 cars. so that means, regardless of what grill you use, the c63 hood will overshoot the length of your car.... will look odd if you try to install

you can look online and many vendors sell a hood that will fit your w204 but looks like the c63 one. it will be the same deal for the front side fenders

Attention Poser:

get a C63!!!

but if you have to, there are several companies that make a "lookalike".

if you did in fact search, AT ALL, you would know that the entire front of the car is longer and wider to accommodate the engine that you wish you had.

To OP:

No offense, was just razzing you.

As stated, there are several companies that produce the hood you are looking for. Truly sorry!!

So from what I gather, if OP wants to use OEM parts the only way he'd get it to work is if he used the C63:
Hood
Fenders
Front bumper
Grille

I think there is a little more to it than even that... There is also air ducts and fender parts that wouldn't lineup to a regular w204 body. A lot of people don't realize the c63 is completely a different car from the A-pillar, to the front bumper, other than the frame, I believe.

Correct, a C63 is about 6 inches longer overall.

Your an idiot - maybe he can’t afford a c63, or maybe he thinks a true c63 is a waste of the extra money - seems to me the only poser is you, posing as someone who isn’t an asshat
