Just Did my C63 mid pipe

Guys I wanted to share with you what I think Is a clean proper way to mod..
All the pipes are stainless and mandrel bent. I will be adding making another mid pipe with an H to see the sound difference. This mod lets you have a nice clean instal which can be swapped in and out with ZERO issues. I added a flange to the OEM mid pipe so I can swap in and out as I please.

This part can be made to be a one cut and clamp install ZERO welding.
I rather have a flange clamp on my car.

I spoke to the owner and he is willing to make a set of 10units at a low price ( NO MB TAX).

Hope you like

That's what Vivid did for my car. No x-pipe but they cut the midpipes, put on v-band flanges and modified some hi-flow cats that would drop in.

So far
3 we need 7 more to get a good rate. Ill call him tomorrow and get the $ I'm sure it's gonna be well bellow $500 guys.

He's a car guy and I told him the mission we are all on for a nice clean product and no stupid over price mark up.

He said sure just let me get at least ten guys and that way I can make then in one day ship the next.

It's about time someone steps up makes a nice part and skips the silly "oh it's an AMG so ill charge 3times what it should be" price.

I'll go for it, I mean depending on the price and quality but I'd be down if the price is well below 500 as stated above...

Yes
Kudos to you for doing this. The MB tax is disgusting, glad someone is out there challenging the norm. Any thoughts on power gains?

Thank you. As for the power gains, I honestly don't know. Im sure its around maybe 10-15 since you are droppig 2 huge plugs freeing up the flow. I can tell you it sure sounds damn nice

I'll be letting everyone know what the final price is. I hope everyone is in the 50 states since shipping is where the I can't control the price UPS or Fed Ex says. The buyer will be responsible for shipping cost. I will go to the UPS store box it and put a copy of the shipping invoice in with your order. If its $25 then an additional 25 will be needed to have your power pipe sent to you. I can do everything via paypal.

Here's a pic of the H being fabricated minus the MB tax lol

Ok gents here's the scoop.

The pipe will be made just as mine ( in stainless steel and mandrel bent ) just like the OEM. The final product will just like mine but it will require ZERO welding. Just one cut and bolt it right on with the clamp supplied. Everything else will bolt right in where your OEM bolt on connections are. Best of all it is a nice clean proper way. And 100% reversible.

The section where you see the flange welded on will be extended and will slip on where you make the instructed cut. I added a flange because I wanted to bolt on and off in case I change my mind.

The final price will be $400.00 plus shipping if we get 10 buyers. I will pack them myself and send you a copy of the shipping invoice. What ever it cost to ship is what you pay. Guys you pay PayPal fee's. I'm adding money (about $20 bucks hence the total cost $400.00 plus what ever it takes to get it to where you want it shipped to ) to cover the boxes and bubble wrap from the Mailbox store so i know your power pipe gets to your place in one piece.

I'm glad we finally have a quality part for our cars and not pay an eyeball for it.

Side note I added the H and trust me when I tell you the H makes it perfect!!!
Not too loud not too quiet just freaken perfect. I will record a vid of the car with it on and hopefully I can post it. The car sounds just right enough bark but not cheap sounding like you chopped up your car in a sad attempt to make it sound better.

He can make it with an H or straight same cost but I really really really recommend the H. I had both and it's perfect with the H. Zero drone in the cabin at any speeds too.

Lets get the list going so we can get the power pipes made. Min 10 since he needs to make a jig off mine and make the 10 in one run.

Thanks
Mike

Guys,
If you leave the stock original resonator on behind these pipes you DO NOT need the "H". There is a built in "H" in the resonator. Just an FYI.

Nice mod by the way!!

Kieth is right. That is why I went with the straight pipes and no H thinking the internal H in the resonator would be enough. I added the H because the straight setup was too loud. Once the H was added on the power pipe that AMG sound was back only a bit louder " just right for me". I prefer adding the Additional H on to the pipe I made. It's your call gents, its a daily driver go the H route straight pipe was just a bit too loud for me( I think I'm getting old lol). Same cost straight or H. I personally was looking tastefully done mod and sound not too loud.

Thank Keith!

Just did a couple of vids. I don't know how to up load them. Can someone email me and I will send them over so you guys can post it.

You were 100% correct to add the H. It sounds like a growl

I saw the wheels I will email you on that.

Thanks brother !
