2013 C63 coupe Mid Nov. build
was wondering if anyone has a C63 coupe that will be in production mid Nov. and if you have heard from your dealer about any progress info.

There is an issue with Distronic. If you ordered full drive assist pack with distronic then your build will be delayed, I changed my order as cruise control that measures car distance in front and brakes if I forget to was not worth not getting my coupe until April

Well I insisted on taking a 2013 complied vehicle so it would have been a lot longer than if you had said get me the next available build slot. Technical freeze is 14 days before your vehicle is due to commence construction

was told the new body 2015 c55/63 amg coupe (and for that matter the 2015 m4) will not be out until at the earliest the end of 2014...most likely 1st quarter 2015...
I put a deposit on the m4 a couple months back and then read an updated article by autoweek I think that stated the car was a 2015 model not to be released until late 2014/early 2015, so I took my deposit back
Edit: At least with BMW, I know they will release the 2015 m3 sedan around 6 months pr 6months+ before the 2015 m4 coupe. Maybe, they MB will do the same with the 2015 c55/63 amg sedan? All speculation at this point, but it has been confirmed that both of the aforementioned new generation AMG/M coupes will be 2015 models, not released for around 2 years to 2 years +.

Ordered mine end of June. Salesman told me it wouldn't have a build date until 11/25/12. Ok, I was willing to wait it out. Since, we hadn't talked in a while, decided to call him. He said the car was scheduled to arrive in Baltimore 10/31/12. Much to my surprise, well ok! Sat in VPC for a couple of weeks and showed up 11/19/12. Wrong interior, wrong wheel???????? So much for my c63, looks like I'm not getting my c63. Very disappointed, to say the least. Salesman is scratching his head. Window sticker even says the right color, but it's wrong. So, it looks like the m3 will have to do for now. Sure didn't think ordering a car would be like a act of congress.
