Why not just wait until the end of this year for the CLS 4matic? Is it cheaper to 4matic it yourself as opposed to transfer the upgrades?

It depends to me I want to have it yesterday so if I can have it now why not plus I have already spent so much money on my car it won't hurt to spend a bit more and before the end of Feb I will have her riding AWD rather than wait till the end of August.

I am excited about what AMS are offering they don't seem to have info out about there product or pricing, and its hard to digest the power source since they haven't touch the down pipe or even the exhaust not to mention the cats and intercoolers I don't see facts about what they have posted, but putting that aside when facts start showing up the cost of turbo upgrades can always be sorted

Keith thanks so much for hooking me up with the drag tires and wheels any record archived by those bad boys are credit to your support thank you got them this morning

Glad they got delivered!!! If you need anything else just let me know.

You will definitely be setting some records!! Good luck!!

BTW, the issue is the turbo's. AMS is using larger different turbo's and Weistec was using the same housing just better quality internal parts from what I understand.

There is no space for bigger turbos you must use the same internals and if they have a larger turbo or so they will be restricted by the pipes diameter and stock cats before they even break some new record numbers you need those burned gases to move before you crack the 680hp this is why we need more facts why isn't there any Torque figures? A video would be nice too, if this was with down pipe and exhaust I wouldn't question it, but I have had the larger turbos installed before down pipes and the difference is tremendous, good luck to them if they show us good numbers with facts I am a potential buyer for two kits

AMS has been around for a while. They do not fudge their numbers. That 787whp was done with turbos, 100oct and tune. That is all. If there was more involved, they would say it, they do not bull****.

You don't seem to get the point I am raising about there claim 787whp is possible but with other parts changed like what I mentioned, and I know the achievements that AMS have done, but you can't push more exhaust gases in a smaller pipe and stock cats with reputation other wise you will start melting internals and like I said if they offer something that is mind blowing I will be one of the first people to purchase there kit

i drive them all, fast and hard
Weistec I think got there numbers with their own new down pipes. Which when u look at the oe ones in comparison you are quite shocked as to what comes with the car.

I get your point. I'm just disagreeing with you. Where are you getting your data from?

Either way, you will know exactly what is in the kit when it becomes publicly available anyways, which is always a good thing.

Exactly look at the difference between the original and GAD down pipe for example in the attached picture 54mm is the original pipe that's too small to flow enough gases to produce that kind of HP and remember the cats after that too! I am not talking out of the blue AMS are big players and sooner or later once they are 100% ready I am sure all will be clear

Maybe you don't know where I get my data from but I was the first to install a turbo upgrade in my CLS63 and this is before AMS buy there E63

Seems you don't know the sizes of your turbos? This has a lot to do with output.

LoL I know exactly what the size of my turbos are the bigger the more exhaust gas you will end up having more heat start coming in and more knocking, now imagine it with a tighter pipe, the problem is that you have never seen the engine bay very closely you can't stick a finger in that place yet alone go with larger turbos is impossible that's why renntech and wesitec are using the same housing, but if they pull it off that's good news lets wait for more details of there kit.

What is the size at the downpipe stock on these M157's?

Also curious on the size of your upgraded garrets since your thread doesn't seem to mention it.
